The contact owns a 2011 keystone laredo travel trailer. The contact stated that while parked, the rear lippert stabilizer jack failed to activate without warning. The contact stated that it took several attempts to activate the stabilizer jack. The failure recurred on several occasions until the jack no longer worked. The trailer was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the motor for the stabilizer jack failed and needed to be replaced. The trailer was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.
