The contact owns a 2008 keystone everest. While the vehicle was parked the contact noticed the welding on the frame was bent, the cross members were extremely thin and the water holding tank was hanging from underneath the vehicle. The contact stated the vehicle was taken to a trailer repair facility. The technicians stated theframe needed to be to be straightened and there were braces attached to the water holding tank that was attached to the vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.
The contact owns a 2008 keystone everest trailer. The tires on the trailer are starting to swell under 5000 miles which were manufacturer by tireco. The tireco tire size was 235/80/r16 and the dot number was 4yb3cq1c1107. The manufacturer of the tires stated that the blowouts have occurred frequently on the tire brand she had on the vehicle and must be given to the manufacturer and inspected before they can be replaced. Keystone city rv where the vehicle was purchased stated that they were not aware of the problem. Tireco will inspect the tires, but would not commit to providing replacement tires. The contact was informed by another trailer owner that tireco was aware that the gum strip that binds the tire tread to the steel belt on the tires was not placed on the tire when it was manufactured.
