The contact owns a 2006 keystone cougar fifth wheel. The contact stated that the bolts that hold the freshwater tank puncture through. The trailer was taken to the dealer who verified that the bolts punctured holes in the tank and as a result, the tank needed to be replaced. The manufacturer made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The failure mileage was unknown.

Waiting on dometic repair approval, has been since july 14,2008 first time i called. Called on july 21, 2008 and again on july 22, 2008 trying to find out when we are going to be approved for repair service at our campsite for our dometic refrigerator. Need refrigerator running to keep medication that is needed cold. Thank you for your time.

2006 keystone cougar fifth wheel with dometic refrigerator problem. *njwhen the consumer inspected the refrigerator, he discovered a yellow residue at the rear of the unit. The consumer was informed by customer service they would only pay to have a kit installed, not to repair the refrigerator.

Dt*: the contact stated the travel trailer had a formaldehyde smell coming from the construction material.the formaldehyde caused the contact to be sick for one week and the epa stated that formaldehyde couldcause cancer and respiratory problems.the dealer determined that the trailer had this problem, but could not do anything about it and the odor would go away in two years.the manufacturer denied the claim.updated 10/31/2006 - the camper was tested and it was determined that the vapor was above the epa's recommended exposure .the camper registered, at it's highest level, 0.46 ppm and the recommended limit is 0.1 ppm.the consumer contacted the dealer and asked that the manufacturer to either remove the components containing formaldehyde or repurchase the camper from the consumer.the general manager at the dealer refused to talk to the consumer or return his phone calls.the customer rep at keystone said that keystones position was that there was nothing wrong with the camper.

The contact owns a 2006 keystone cougar 314 efs rv. The contact stated that the front end collapsed while driving 60 mph. The vehicle was taken to south country rv repair (541-863-3826) where it was diagnosed that the front frame and kingpin separated due to poor metal and welding. The rv was repaired and the frame and kingpin were replaced. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was unknown.
