The contact owns a 2000 kawasaki zr1100-c (na).the contact stated while driving 55 mph, fuel leaked from the overflow fuel tank.the contact installed a pull-tie to the overflow hose in order to slow the fuel leak. The vehicle was inspected by a mechanic who stated there was a hole in the rear of the right fuel tank. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.the failure mileage was 20,000. The current mileage was 20,200.
