Fuel line coupling pulled out of fuel tap causing a fuel leak.noticed fuel odor and drops coming from fuel line connection to fuel tap nipple and suspected a cracked line or hose.when i removed the fuel hose from the fuel tap the entire nipple pulled out of the fuel tap body.the fuel tap is the on/off valve body right under the tank.the fuel line feeds directly from the tap body to the carbs and leakage falls directly on the hot engine.i pushed the nipple back into the body of the cast fuel tap but feel it is not as secure as it should be.happened one time.
