Loss of complete power resulting in a possible fatal injury while traveling on a busy road. Upon vehicle arriving home, accessed the battery compartment and touched the wires when i heard a click and the bike resumed power. Plan the take the motorcycle in the shop tomorrow in effort to investigate this major failure.
Motorcycle failed to accelerate while twisting the throttle open while cruising at a speed of 35 mphapproaching an intersection. Dash board light consistently blinked but motorcycle did not respond to increase speed over an approximate two minute period of timemotorcycle had previous issues:1) complete loss of power recorded under nhtsa id number 10557219 on dec 24, 20132) error code f1 transpired on three separate occasions and local kawasaki warranty dealer could not simulate nor did the ecu record any error codesaffected part/s unknown

Brakes became warped at around 5500 miles. This is extremely low miles for brakes to warp. It can be felt when slowing from interstate speeds when exiting the interstate. Bike is less controllable, handle bars wobble, and the braking is less.per this bikes specific forums, newer kawasaki concours 14s have this issue.there are many "threads/posts" of this issue.i believe that its very dangerous. And although my bikes brakes warpage is light now - it will continue to get worse, and at this time the dealer doesn't think its an issue even though they could feel it when they test drove it. I think it has to do with the weight of the bike and the quality of the oem brake pads/rotors (brake system).
