The contact owns a 2005 john deere 5425 tractor (na). The contact stated that the cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the clutch fractured, causing the brakes to become inoperable. The contact would have to shut off the engine and shift gears to allow the brakes to function. The dealer replaced the cable two times. The contact believed that replacing the cable was only a temporary remedy. The vehicle was no9t further repaired. Updated 10/21/10. *ljupdated 10/25/10
