Driving my 09 jeep patriot approximately 25mph when another vehicle was in a blind spot and drove into the front right side of my vehicle, pushing the front left side into a wall. The airbags never went off as the car is now totaled. Other drivers airbags went off. I recieved attention at the hospital for whiplash and a concussion from hitting my head off of the a-frame and headrest.

Numerous problems with water leaking through the dome light and onto all electrical panels on the dashboard.brought the vehicle to the jeep dealer who claimed they cleaned the sunroof drainage tubes but this did not solve the leak problem. Jeep refuses to cover this problem under terms of warranty.

Water keeps flowing from the ceiling dome light.i have had it to the dealer several times, they keep blowing out the roof drains, and it keeps happening.i went out to the driveway and heard a humming sound coming from under the hood, and water was pouring from the ceiling light .i started the vehicle, and all the lights began flashing, and when i turned the key off, it kept running.i could not turn the car off!!!i had to disconnect the battery!!

The factory radio in my daughter's jeep patriot kept blowing its supply fuse.we replaced the radio figuring that was the issue but the fuse would still blow. In troubleshooting the problem i discovered that the main wiring harness was not properly supported as its routed through the passenger compartment. It enters near the floor in the wall next to the drivers left foot and then turns horizontal under the dash just above the support assembly for the clutch/brake pedals. The harness was lying on top of the sharp metal edge on the clutch pedal bracket and wore through the insulation allowing the 12v feed for the road to short to ground blowing the fuse. At least one other wire had its insulation burned in the process. Not enough to deem it "a fire" but definitely a problem.i consider ourselves very fortunate - only the radio was affected. It could have easily been one of the safety systems - brakes, air bags, etc. That also go through that harness and if multiple wires were involved the fuses could have been insufficient to prevent an electrical fire within the passenger compartment.i own 2 jeep patroits - a 2009 and a 2010.i checked my 2010 and the harness on that patriot appears to be suspended up against the dash frame so it's off the brackets for the brake/clutch. I do not know if the harness in our 2009 was just miss-installed or a design fault was corrected in 2010.i do have digital pictures of the damage to the wiring harness which i can forward if this issue is deemed serious enough for further investigation.

The vehicle habitually will stall while driving. It seems to be related to getting it fueled up. I cannot get any support from the dealer regarding the issue, and it seems to be a common problem when looking on various jeep patriot forums.

While i was driving on a city street all the lights on the dashboard came on and immediately started to to stall and wouldn't drive past 15mph..luckily i was able to drive into a wendys parking lot when it stalled completely..after it stalled completey i shut off the engine and tried to start it up again nothing happened wouldn't turn on and just made a clicking noise..this is the second time this has happened

When i fill up my gas tank to full, within a mile of leaving the gas station the car completely stalls while driving. The steering and the breaks lock up and i have no control of the car. I have to put the car in neutral and turn it on and off to start working again. This is very unsafe and dangerous while driving! this recently started to happen on a car with minimal miles on it

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. While driving various speeds and attempting to accelerate, the vehicle shut off without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The contact called livonia chrysler jeep at 734-525-5000 (located at 30777 plymouth rd, livonia, mi 48150) and was informed to call the manufacturer. The failure recurred several times. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. The contact stated that an unknown warning light illuminated and the brake pedal became loose. The vehicle failed to slow down or stop and the rpms increased to seven and then immediately to zero. The steering wheel seized and the engine stalled. While driving 45 mph, the contact crashed into an unknown object on the side of the road and caused the vehicle to roll over. Four passengers sustained shoulder injuries and lacerations. The contact also mentioned that the front driver side seat belt failed to tighten and the rear passenger side seat belt completely detached during the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.

My jeep patriot has a very unusual problem of going into "limp" mode under normal operating conditions--even after as little of 15 minutes of driving. The "transmission overheat" light comes on, and the vehicle's on-board computer forces the vehicle down to slow, sub-highway speeds--even as slow as 35 mph. The problem has been very dangerous for us (especially on the freeway) and occurs under normal (and even cold temperatures). It is not remedied by replacing the transmission oil or even installing a transmission oil cooler (both which i have tried). I have brought the vehicle to numerous mechanics--including the dealership and a transmission shop--which have all been stumped by the issue. After learning about and thoroughly diagnosing the problem, the transmission shop concluded that something very unusual was wrong with the transmission, and they wrote a statement to that effect. After experiencing this dangerous, frequent problem with my jeep patriot, i started a website to collect responses from other jeep owners. In the short period of time the website has been up (jeeppatriottransmissionoverheat.com), i have received many submissions from other owners who have the same problem (and all of which have attested that the dealership was ultimately stumped by the problem). The problem is found on vehicle years ranging from 2007-2014. Some owners believe the koho bearings are the root of the problem, but in any event, a complete transmission replacement is the only known remedy.after researching this problem thoroughly, as well as reviewing existing recalls on the vehicle, i am now confident that the problem is widespread (exists on 1,000+ patriots), is found on new and used patriots of all mileages, is very dangerous, and has been ignored by jeep. It is my opinion that a safety recall should be issued by the nhtsa, after conducting its own research.

There have been several occasions now when my jeep has slowed to a complete stop while driving on the highway. It starts with a high whining noise then the coolant light comes on followed by my jeep losing the ability to accelerate. The highway speed is 75 mph and this makes for a very dangerous situation. Jeep can be held accountable for any accident or injury that occurs during this malfunction.

After filling the gas tank the car bucks and the engine dies, forcing loss of steering control and acceleration in traffic. Also, there are difficulties filling the tank with gas - the pump shuts off constantly, about every 1/3 gallon or so, which means it takes about 15-20 minutes to fill the tank. I took it to a mechanic twice and spent more than $300 in attempts to repair this to no avail. I've owned the car for 10 years, it has just about 50,000 miles on it - i bought it new at the dealer.

Jeep patriot stalls within about a mile of filling the gas tank, steering wheel locks and is very dangerous. I was stopped at a red light luckily. Problem needs to be recalled asap, gas tank needs to be replaced to fix the problem. Happens to a lof of patriot owners in cars from 2007-2009. Please recall. Please!!!!!!!

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. While driving 60 mph, the temperature gauge light illuminated, the vehicle started losing power and made a whining noise. The contact had to coast the vehicle to the side of the road. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed, but there was no failure code. The cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

I purchased a new 2009 jeep patriot in december of 2008, since i've owned the car i've only put 7200 miles on that car and have had it in the shop twice for what feels to be the same problem. The last time it was in they said it was the air box, problem solved...about 1,000 miles later the same problems with the car returned. These problems being, loss of power on acceleration, intermittent loss of engine power uphill, near stalls in reverse. When i need to accelerate quickly, the rpms red-line for me to get enough behind the car to move.

While i was driving i could hear water swishing when making a turn, then hot water came pouring out from under the dashboard. White plains chrysler said there was a kink in the hose from the air conditioning and water had collected there thus heating up and expanded and came out burning my foot while on the accelerator pedal.i called a tow truck.excessive play in the steering.emergency brake does not hold when park on a hill.

There is a horrible leak from the front dome light fixture when driving in the rain. Water pours out from the fixture as you are driving. Pours. Seems to be a very common issue with jeep patriots, and jeep refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem. I've seen many complaints for this exact problem on many web sites about this specific issue, and the common theme is that jeep doesn't know how to repair the problem, and won't acknowledge that this is a common problem with this model.

Vehicle does not fill up with gasoline properly, potentially due to a malfunctioning safety device in the gas tank.the pump turns off after.5 gallons, and must wait approximately 15 seconds and then put in another .5 gallons, and so on.the jeep dealership believes it is a stuck/malfunctioning roll over valve located in the gas tank and since the roll over valve is a part of the tank, the entire tank would have to be replaced.while the fill up problem is an inconvenience a malfunctioning roll over valve in an accident, specifically a roll over accident, may allow fuel to leak out creating a serious life safety situation that may not otherwise exist.the problem is intermittent, it began shortly after i bought the jeep used in february 2013, went away for awhile, but now the problem has come back.

It has been stalling and chugging, doesn't act like it's getting gas. Doesn't matter f it's on a full tank of gas or lower. Replaced gas cap, didn't seem to help. Only seems to do this when n drive and getting up to the speed limit, whether on highway or in town. It s getting worse. Putting sea foam n doesn't seem to help or changing gas from 87 to 89. I purchase gas at several different locations, doesn't make a difference.

After filling up the fuel tank the engine will stall while driving in traffic multiple times for several miles. This is a major issue since you lose acceleration, power steering and power brakes. This has caused several near misses while turning onto an interstate. This seems to affect 2007-2009 models mostly. The only fix is to replace the entire fuel tank because of a sensor located on top for around 1200 usb. Please see the numerous complaints below.https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2017/inoa-dp17002-2109.pdfhttps://www.cargurus.com/cars/discussion-t29898_ds631498http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/15-engine-drivetrain/271689-stalling-after-filling-gas-tank.html

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. The contact stated that the vehicle was unable to properly refuel. As the failure progressed, the fuel spilled out when the contact attempted to refuel the vehicle. The dealer diagnosed that the fuel tank needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no solution other than the dealer replacing the parts. The failure mileage was not available.

Car engine dies after filling gas tank approximately 1 mile away from gas station every time. My car has died in an intersection when making a turn against oncoming traffic. Car usually dies after idling at a stop light and then upon acceleration it just dies. Car has 70,000 miles and from my research it seems to be a common problem.

I cannot put fuel into the vehicle without it continuously shutting the gas off after a few seconds.i have been told that the entire gas tank needs to be replaced.i found a technical service bulletin (tsb 14-001-09 rev.a) that addresses the exact same issue with other chrysler automobiles, but the 2009 jeep patriot is not included. My online research has uncovered other jeep patriot owners who have experienced the exact same issue with no recourse but to pay out-of-pocket for a new fuel tank.i have been quoted $1400.00 to have the fuel tank replaced. I do not understand why chrysler jeep is not taking responsibility for this issue with the 2009 patriot.i would be interested in knowing how many jeep patriot owners had to have their gas tanks replaced and if chrysler jeep has repair records of gas tank replacements done in their repair shops.what happens if someone cannot afford to have this fixed?

The vehicle habitually will stall while driving. It seems to be related to getting it fueled up. I cannot get any support from the dealer regarding the issue, and it seems to be a common problem when looking on various jeep patriot forums.

It started out with stumbling idle and stalling after refueling. Which was dangerous as it would do it for up to a mile afterwards when you're trying to get back on the highway. Now my problem is the jeep will not refuel. You put the nozzle in and it takes a little bit and it kicks off. Pull the nozzle out and reinsert it and it does it again. It will also spit fuel out at you if you are not careful. Now the stalling as mentioned prior happens almost any time while driving.

After refueling, the vehicle acts like it wants to stall and has stalled on some occasions.this is concerning to me because, i have to put the vehicle in park and restart it.i am afraid when this happens that someone behind me in traffic may slam into my jeep..i put a recent date below, but it has been ongoing off and on since i bought it last year.

I have been having a very dangerous issue with my jeep. It stalls numerous times after i get fuel. It has come to my attention that this is a common issue with jeep patriots. It has also come to my attention that there is a recall on the 2012+ models for the issue. I am wondering why there is not a recall on the 2009 model that i have? after extensive research, it appears that this is a ver common problem with the 2007-2009 models as well. This issue is incredibly dangerous, and has nearly caused me to be in an accident numerous times. Being my only mode of transportation, i have no choice but to drive it. Why has jeep not issued a recall for all years, it clearly affects more than just 2012+ vehicles.

After refueling my vehicle while pulling away from the pump, it started bucking and stalled completely. I have had the bucking and surging unstable idle after refueling. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. This problem has been going on right about 6 months.

Vehicle stalls after refueling (several times within 5 miles after refueling) before returning to normal. Vehicle stalls initially while idling immediately after refueling and while in motion. Vehicle stalled when pulling into intersection (on a public roadway), causing wheel to lock. This is a safety hazard. This happens with every refuel since the first event.

The transmission over heats and the speed slows down automatic and will cause the car to stall.this happens on all long road trips. The chain drive transmission isat fault. Jeep covered this up by puttingcensoroncooling part to mass the real fault. This has happen three times always on long mileage trips. Thank you

Spouse has just made a turn and was driving home in the country when she heard a loud pop followed by a loud noise from the rear of the car with vehicle vibration. She pulled over to the side of the road and noticed the rear wheel driver side was on an angle. Husband showed up to see what happened and it appears the rear subframe cracked under severe corrosion allowing the left rear axle to pop out of the differential. Vehicle was then towed home.

"takata recall" ever since i purchased this vehicle it has been slow to accelerate. The transmission slips every now and then if i accelerate to quickly after the car was in park. When at highway speed, sometimes the car needs to be shut off in other for it to shift in gear properly again. The check engine light stays on for tcm control no matter what i do. There has to be something defective in connection with the power train.

Cvt transmission failed while driving on highway with no warning or symptoms

At less than 370000 miles, (just out of warranty)i noticed a clunking and rattling noise from the front driver side of my 2009 jeep patriot. After a few days it spread to the passenger side front. When taking off or braking, especially around 5-10 mph, the clunking is really loud. I drove to chrysler in wiesbaden, germany, and informed them that i believe it was a lower ball joint making the noise on both sides. Later they called me and said i was right, and they do not do ball joint repair, they replace the control arm. Makes sense, i am a mechanic, sae certified, working at a repair facility. The customer service manager also said i needed a cv boot on the passenger side. Cost of a control arm (part only-600 euro!!. Cost of a cv boot, just a piece of rubber, 201 euro. Parts only. Total cost with parts and labor would have been 1,060 euro, about 1200 us dollars for one side only. I did not allow them to rob me, so i ordered both sides, control arms, cv boots, inner and outer tie rods complete. I installed them with the help of my supervisor using manufacturer's data to torque all bolts and nuts. Parts used were chrysler usa parts. The replacement parts started making the same noises the same day. Chrysler needs to recall these cars and manufacture a fitting part. The material is too cheap for such a heavy car.so, no warranty, no recall (nobody died yet!) and no cooperation from chrysler.

Problem with antilock brakes:all the lights on the dash are on.they intermittently go off, but mostly they stay on.problem with transmission/engine:when i drive, the jeep stalls out.this has occurred on the highway, so fast speed, as well as on side streets.both of these issues are ongoing, have been happening off and on since i bought the jeep.

During highway driving at a sustained speed of high rpms, the transmission temperature warning light comes on.if speed is not reduced to allow the transmission to cool, the car goes into a safety mode and slows automatically.a repair shop pulled the codes and found code p0218, high temp operation activated.this problem occurs multiple times on almost every long highway trip when trying to maintain speed going up hills.the increased acceleration keeps the engine operating at high rpms above 3000 for a sustained period of time.

While driving on the interstate suddenly without any "warning" all the dash lights battery, engine, ect came on and the engine stalled. Would not drive or re-start just died. Suggested that it is the computer/pcm...

2009 jeep patriot: manual gear clutch failure at 14,000 miles and 14 months since new. Warranty expires on this item at 12,000 miles and 12 months. The jeep was not driven aggressively or off road. A clutch should last much longer. I spoke to chrysler / jeep warranty department several times and they refused to assist, dealer installed new clutch for $1,060.00. I believe the clutch is not strong enough or is substandard for this vehicle and should be replaced with a stronger one at no charge.

After filling up the fuel tank the engine will stall while driving.lose acceleration, power steering and power brakes. Have to pull over and turn off the car and turn it back on. Engine light comes on dashboard. Major safety issue, loose control of the vehicle in traffic.

The contact called on behalf of his daughter who owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. While driving at an unknown speed, it felt as if the vehicle were floating left to right. The steering also turned left to right and right to left, which caused the driver to momentarily lose control of the vehicle. The contact stated that the abs indicator illuminated and flashed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was taken to daystar chrysler dodge jeep ram (330-863-1144, located at 206 s carrollton st, malvern, oh 44644) where it was diagnosed that hard braking locked the brake pedal and caused it to stick to the floor. The technician replaced the brake pump and the abs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the extended warranty expired. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

Brought my vehicle for brakes and inspection and received a call from the garage saying i needed to replace all 4 ball joints. They said the left front one was extremely loose and barely hanging on. I researched the web and found many incidents of bad ball joints on this vehicle with an explanation from local dealer shops that there was a bad batch installed initially. The repairs cost me over $700 because the 3 year warranty had run out even though the mileage is still within range. Jeep knows its an issue and hasn't responded with a safety recall. Are they just waiting until an accident happens with death resulting before they act?

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot. The contact stated that the vehicle would shake while the brake pedal was depressed. The dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was notified, but denied any assistance with repairs of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 40,000 and the current mileage was 44,000.

The contact also mentioned that the front driver side seat belt failed to tighten and the rear passenger side seat belt completely detached during the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.

After filling up the fuel tank the engine will stall while driving.lose acceleration, power steering and power brakes. Have to pull over and turn off the car and turn it back on. Engine light comes on dashboard. Major safety issue, loose control of the vehicle in traffic.

Just purchased the 2009 jeep patriot for my son, it rained and it is leaking water in the dome lights and behind the accelerator. I am scared there will be electrical damage as well as mold and mildew. I have started looking up issues online and have found many people having the same issues.shouldn't jeep be held responsible????

Roof leaks when it rains.it has done this three times with a substantial amount of water leaking through the map light.first leak in september 2010last leak was 3/1/11.

The front and rear cross bars are severely rusted. My mechanic told me this is rust is not common wear and tear, but a poorly made or chosen part by my manufacturer, jeep / chrysler. He said my vehicle is unsafe to drive until this is fixed. While the cross bars are covered under an extended warranty the bolts and control arms (also severely and dangerously rusted) are not. I am out thousands of dollars because jeep was too cheap to choose a quality part. My vin is [xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Water was leaking from the front dome light and rear and front driver'sfloor bed was soaked with water.the vehicle has a sunroof and we have read about many people having this same problem.contacted jeep vehicle was 2 months out of warranty and they refused to do anything.told us to take it to a jeep dealer and get it fixed ourselves.many people have done this multiples times and their cars still leak.jeep is still leaking on the floor beds.they are soaked on driver's side. It doesn't even have to rain and just the dew on the car causes the floor to be wet.we fear electrical damage that can cause fault of vehicle resulting in injury, mold, and rusting out.something needs to be done about this!

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. While attempting to move the vehicle, there was an abnormal noise underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the subframe displayed excessive corrosion. The contact was informed that the subframes of the engine mount, the shock mount, and the entire undercarriage were rusted to the point where the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The contact was informed that the subframe of the vehicle needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were contacted or notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

The driver's side frame is completely rusted out after only six years of driving.

2009 jeep patriot 4x4, 20,800 milesbad enough i had to replace the front left lower ball joint at this low mileage, but while in the shop my mechanic calls me to inform me that the k-frame is rotted out and needs to be replaced.a k frame or cross member on a car is the part of the car's frame bolted beneath the underside of the vehicle. The k cross member, which features engine mounts, is used to support a longitudinally mounted transmission. The k frame enables better handling and alignment with respect to suspension. He tells me to call the dealer and that it should be under warranty. I call two dealerships without a return phone call and then call chrysler.nope, not covered under warranty and they are unwilling to assist in the cost to repair.did i mention it only has 20,800 miles?

The contact owns a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4. The contact stated that while having routine service to the vehicle, a considerably amount of rust and rot was noticed on the engine frame. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the frame was rotted and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,000. The vin was not available.

With a low mileage of 37,325, both original front ball joints needed to be replaced. Majority of the accumulated mileage is highway driving and there is only one driver. After gradually noticing a rocky ride, i made a mechanic'sappointment for a diagnosis of the problem. The experienced mechanics diagnosed the ball joint defect. The mechanic called the jeep dealership to pricejeep parts and was told two complete arms would have to be purchased to complete the ball joint repair.the condition of the broken ball joints showed excessive play. This is my second jeep vehicle; the first vehicle was a jeep cherokee 4x4 that did not have this problem with low mileage.

Second front lower control arm ball joint separation.this one, drivers side.recent past was the passenger side.mileage less than 50,000.vehicle is just going in for repair -nhtsa may want to claim the suspension bolt ~ evidence in mode of failure.cross bolt appears separated ('over torque' or 'bending flexural failue' or grade (brittle failure).this failure (10 mph slow turn).higher speed could have lead to severe accident.contact [email protected] for information.

Mechanic said my sub-frame was severely rusted and will very soon be unsafe to drive as it may break while driving.why has the same problem that was addressed in an extended warranty for 2007 models not been addressed for 2009?loss of steering at highway speeds seems to be a major safety issue that could cause injury or death to myself, my family and other drivers.

Left and right ball joints/control arm inspected by dealer technician during routine tire rotation, and found to be worn out and at risk of failing. Parts replaced by dealer while still under 3-year warranty.

While driving on a residential road the 2009 jeep patriot's subframe broke. Because of this my vehicle almost lost the passenger tire. Had it been on the freeway i would have been severely injured. After being inspected by the mechanic he has never seen rust this bad and it's much more deteriorated than any other part of the underbody. This is not normal wear and tear. A 9 year old vehicle should not be experiencing this sort of deterioration. The result of this mechanical failure has caused damage to the tie-rod, the suspension, and the control arm. Vehicle is a total loss.

Loud noise in front suspension odd feel in steering driving on city streets. Vehicle was checked and found the front crossmember was rusted through and the mounting for the front sway bad was rotted through and pulled apart. Jeep dealer wanted $99.00 to look under the vehicle, and tell me that there was no recallor extended warranty. 2007 model year has extended warranty for the same part number. I feel this is a hazardous condition caused be defective part and should be recalled to prevent a serious collision and possible loss of life.

I had my vehicle at tuffy muffler for an oil change and tire rotation/inspection when they pointed out that three of the four metal tire pressure/position sensors were cracked.the stated this could result in an immediate release of air when the vehicle is in motion.they also told me they had replaced an unusual number of these items in chrysler made products.it appears there is a defect in the metal alloy they are using.i called chrysler to inform them that i was filling a complaint as they did not seem concerned with customer safety issue.i am covered under a limited warranty for most of the cost but the issue is the possible loss of tire pressure while the car is in motion.

Chrysler is intentionally inflating tires to 40 psi to prevent low pressure warning light from coming on. I took my jeep patriot to rochester hills (mi) chrysler for a tire rotation i found the tires inflated to 40 psi when i inquired, the service rep said it was "to prevent the warning light from coming on when it gets to 0 degrees." 40 psi is 8 psi over the door sticker recommended 32 psi. If you use the "12 degrees changes the pressure by 1 psi" as per the operators manual and you inflated the tires at the record high ambient of 62 degrees and checked them again at the record low of -11 degrees (73 divided by 12= 6 psi) the departure from average low 19 degrees to record low -11 equals 2 psi. The departure from theaverage high 33 degrees to average low 19 degrees equals 1 psi.chrysler's actions indicate a problem with their tire pressure sensors.

I have a vehicle with a tire pressure monitoring system.two tire valve stems are cracked and one has a slow leak.i have read of others with the same system where the valve stems simple break when hand washing the car and the tire goes flat in seconds.this is a serious hazard and could kill someone if it happened on the highway.it is outrageously expensive to replace these stems.

The transmission over heats and the speed slows down automatic and will cause the car to stall.this happens on all long road trips. The chain drive transmission isat fault. Jeep covered this up by puttingcensoroncooling part to mass the real fault. This has happen three times always on long mileage trips. Thank you
