Distributor cap/rotor replaced.
Design flaw of the cooling system does not contain a safety relief valve, which may allow for the fill bottle to exploded when overheating occurs.
Hose clamp on radiator failed.
Vibration pulley shifted off its rubber mounting causing serpentine belt to shred, stopping fans, water pump , alternator , power steering and a/c unit.
Serpentine belt replaced.
Muffler replaced.
While driving the consumer noticed smoke coming fron under the hood,when the consumer pulled over to check the problem, flames of fire came from under the hood. It wa sa gasolinefuel injection fire. Also air conditioner was not working.

When turning vehicle toleftheard a grinding noise coming fromtransfer case.consumer has yet to contact dealer.another mechanic also stated that noise was coming fromtransfer case. Please provide any further details.
The contact owns a 1990 jeep laredo. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the brakes failed to respond. The contact also mentioned that the brake pedal traveled abnormally to the floorboard.the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who stated that the abs pump, the abs motor hydraulic control assembly, and the hydraulic unit anti lock brake needed to be replaced.the vehicle was not repaired.the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 107,000.
While driving front brake rotor broke prior to recall causing the front wheel to lock up.
Antilock brakes failed after recall repairs.
When applying brakes, vehicle stops and then jumps ahead, almost causing collisions.

The contact owns a 1990 jeep cherokee laredo. While driving approximately 40 mph the abs light illuminated. He was able to continue driving. Within a couple of days, he engaged the brakes with excessively at a traffic light but the vehicle would not stop. The failure started on august 4, 2010. The vehicle was taken to two local mechanics who referred them to the dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the recall work had already been performed. The vehicle was purchased in july 23, 2010. The contact was not the first owner of the vehicle. The manufacturer was called and referred the contact to the dealer. She referenced nhtsa recall campaign id number: 96v260000, service brakes, hydraulic antilock. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileages were 205,000.

Ea97-001, front left disc rotor hub separation when driving .
Rear wheel cylinders replaced due to leakage, causing brakes to squeal.
Power steering hose clamp came off, causing leakage.tt
Cold/stiff power steering.
All of the bolt holes holding the roof rack down are leaking,body shop person knew what the problem was without even going to him because all of them are doing that. I later took it to him and after dropping the headliner he confirmed what he already knew.
Wiper blades replaced.
