Ignition switch malfunctioning causing transmission to function improperly.sometimes cannot start vehicle without 'jiggling' the ignition and shifter.dealer kept vehicle for 23 days (8/31/07-9/22/07) replaced ignition module.

Check engine, ebs, and tire pressure lamps light intermittently while driving.dealer reset error codes and reprogrammed computer.with dealer 23 days (8/31/07-9/22/07).

Vehicle stalled while leaving our driveway, brakes and steering were not functional after stall.unable to restart, was towed to dealer.dealer unable to duplicate problem, said no error codes were stored in computer.

'06 jeep cherokee 5.7l hemi engine stalls intermittently in different traffic situations, leading to complete loss of power including power brakes and steering.this condition has occurred on different occasions between dec 07 and feb 08.

Brakes locking up when applied, emergency brake handle has no resistance.passenger side rear brake cable failed.dealer replaced.vehicle was with dealer 23 days (8/31/07-9/22/07).

Rear end 'whining noise'.dealer cannot determine problem.engine misses at idle.dealer cannot duplicate problem.dealer said it would take several days, "... Bring it back when you have time."problem not repaired.

Noise in rear end.dealer replaced drive shaft, u joints, pinion seal.dealer unable to duplicate engine miss problem; reprogrammed computer.dealer had vehicle 22 days (11/7/07-11/29/07).

Received recall notice for electronic brake module.rear brakes severely worn and making noise.after much arguing with dealer, they told us brakes are not warranted,they repaired the rear brakes at no cost.vehicle with dealer 22 days (11/7/07-11/29/07).

Rubber door seals and front air dam falling off.dealer ordered parts.

We have had two broken windshields in our jeep commander and now are about to fix our third broken windshield. Even the smallest stone breaks the windshield.we think it is be cause of the angle of the windshield.this seems very dangerous and has been extremely costly.we are satisfied with the car except for this major defect.
