While driving at highway speed, i received a warning that the trailer had disconnected. I had no trailer brakes on either axle. I later traced the problem to the use of insulation displacement connectors (idc) used on very small wire.*dtconsumer stated he is unsure weather there was corrosion but believes mechanical vibration has something to do with it.
