The contact owns a 2019 jayco redhawk. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph the odor of burning smoke was present. After stopping to inspect the vehicle it was discovered the incandescent light bulb in the storage unit had overheated causing damage to the light cover and items inside the storage unit. The contact indicated that the failure was due to items moving inside the storage space making contact with the light bulb. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not notified. The failure mileage was 2,000. Invalid vin.
