The contact owns a 2020 jayco northpoint rv. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear axle bent. The vehicle was towed to camping world of woodstock (505 phillip landrum memorial hwy parkway 575, woodstock, ga 30188, (888) 380-0095) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the rear axle needed to be replaced. The rv was not yet repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with nhtsa campaign number: 20v665000 (suspension) however, the vin was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and offered to partially cover the cost to replace the axle. The failure mileage was unknown.the consumer stated multiple axle failure on the first trip. The dealer and manufacturer were unable to help with the first axle failure. The consumer stated the camper has been disabled for 11 months.
