Jay flight slx travel trailers. Consumer writes in regards to no overcurrent protection with electrical circuit. *ldthe consumer stated the dealer refused to complete the recall repair in a reasonable amount of time.
2018 camper. Consumer writes in regards to electrical circuit safety recall 19v-699. *ld
The consumer had left their fifth wheel at the campsite, with only the water heater, refrigerator, and the heating system on.when they returned, they found the refrigerator and central heat/air were not working.after checking all circuits and finding them to be receiving power, the dealer representative told the consumer to pull out the fuse panel cover.the consumer discovered the plastic yellow wire had melted.the consumer replaced it and inspected the wire nuts to insure proper installation.the consumer found some to be loose and reinstalled/re-taped them.the (running) light cover had flown off, the kitchen sink leaked, and the thermostat may be inoperative.the consumer requested reimbursement for the food that was in the refrigerator, and information on the safety defects of the vehicle.(jayco 325 bhs eagle)scc

Cpsc:i purchased a 2015 jayco 12bsb camping trailer new from albany rv internet sales.this particular model of camping trailer has only one bed which is created by converting the dining booth.the legs on the table fold, then the table top is placed on a frame evenwith the bottom of the dining benches. When the consumer went to climb into the bed on the converted dinette table, he notice the table bowed, so he immediately removed his weight because it felt it would collapse. The manufacture informed the consumer, the bed was designed for two 150 lbs adults.updated 02/02/17
Jayco 18' camper trailer refrigerator caught on fire around the bottom where the gas burners are located.*mrthe consumer found out that the refrigerator was recalled, but was unsuccessful in trying to reach customer service.

Problems with bunk bed in 2003 jayco kiwi 23d hybrid/rv camper.*mrduring high speeds of 30 mph plus, the bed raises just enough that the poles come out of the notch under the bed.also the bunk bed that is 6 feet off the floor has no rail.the consumer complained to the manufacturer but they didn't respond.(jayco kiwi 23d hybrid 2003 camper)*scc
Propane bottle mounting design results in vibration, bottle came off of vehicle due to design flaw.
Interior lights failed.
Brakes overheat resulting in fire and damaging bearings due to design flaw, recall on these type of brakes however never notified.
Cpsc: on february 25, 2019 i purchased a jayco eagle 30.5mbok fifth wheel trailer from delmarva rv in smyrna, de.once we got home and started to full with it we noticed the slides were not sealed properly you could see lightand the outside ground when the slides were folded in. So on march 4, 2019 we took the camper back to getfixed. Three days later we picked it up. And once again you could still see the outside. We finally get the camperback on march 13, 2019. We took the camper home and parked it in the barn. On may 12, 2019 we took it onour first trip to lancaster, pa and it rained the whole time. But once we got to the campground we startednoticing the camper keep shorting out and we could get the furnace to light *dtthe consumer stated water was entering the vehicle and encountering the electrical outlets. The dealer and manufacturer were notified.

The contact owns a 2016 jayco rb 18 travel trailer (na). While the rv was parked, the front passenger side sliding window exploded without warning or impact. There were no injuries due to the shattered glass. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The vin was unknown. The failure mileage was 4,000.
