The contact owns a 2019 jayco eagle ht. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 21v425000 (equipment). A dealer was contacted and informed him that he had the part available to repair the rv however, the contact had to repair the recall himself. The contact then called rangitsch brothers rv and manufactured home center (2001 w broadway st, missoula, mt 59808) where he was informed that they had to order the part and that they would service the rv under the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the recall and informed him that there was a part shortage and that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
2019 eagle ht fifth wheel. Consumer writes in regards to range microwave/vent hood combination safety recall. *ldthe consumer stated the dealer would not agree to traveling to repair the vehicle unless a credit card was on file. The consumer refused to put the credit on file.
