- the contact stated that the2000 norcold refrigerator caught on fire on 09/25/06.the contact stated thatthe jayco designer series rv 5th wheel that was purchased with the norcold refrigerator had a defective refrigerator that hadrecall campaign 02e019000 back in 2002, he just found out about the recall from reading his good samaritan magazine. The insurance adjuster, fire investigator, and the forensic department determinedthat the refrigerator norcold was the cause of the fire.the contact had all reports needed fortheinvestigation. Consumer states that the cross weight of the vehicle is too heavy,causing tires to blow out excessively.had vehicle weighted with a certified scale. Contacted dealer. Nlmthe consumer experienced tire failure three times. Twice the failure occured at left rear of the vehicle. The right rear tire failed once.
Poor design of motor home, the vehicle is overweight. The consumer suggested that only two family members can ride in the vehicle, otherwise the family is over weight.two tires had blown as a result. *sc
