This jayco motor home has multiple electrical defects. We absolutely believe it to be a fire hazard, and do not feel safe driving or camping in it.after working with a roadside assistance tech over the phone for 1 1/2 hours, we determined the fuse box was labeled incorrectly.i was instructed to replace a 30 amp fuse, which i did multiple times during the course of our trip.finally, when it arced during a change, we called to have someone come out.he replaced it and left extra fuses for the next failure.i have the burned fuse that caused the arc.the repairman said before leaving, "it is not right".following are some of the problems caused by the electrical system.the bunk that lowers for use, and raises to allow access to the driver's seat works intermittently.a harness encloses the electrical wires to move the bunk.when used, it jerks violently and loudly grates and squeals, as if the wires are rubbing against each other.sparks were seen near this harness.if the bunk won't come down for use, it is unusable; if it won't raise, the coach is not drivable.two slides are electrically moved in for driving and out for more room when camping, also work intermittently.we were unable to drive when they would not come in.all tail lights did not work. Two reading lights were either hanging by the wiring or loose, others did not work at all.the dash lights, as well as the sidelights & parking lights did not work.the electrical air conditioner did not work correctly.the large, one piece windshield snapped from a stress break.a defective tire was replaced to address violent vibration.

The contact owns a 2016 jayco alante class a 31l rv. While driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle pulled to the right without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (haylett auto and rv in goldwater, mi, 517-278-5196) where a road test was performed, but the failure was not duplicated. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a representative, jake, stated that nothing could be done. The failure mileage was approximately 400.
