Cpsc: x1350850. 2009 jayco jay flight camper. Consumer stated that the rear hinge rod on the manually folding entry/exit steps failed. *lnthe consumer believed the hinge rod was too small for the load it carried.examination of the break, revealed multiple stress fractures. Once the rod fracture had progressed far enough, the remaining steel broke in one total failure.
