Involved in car accident where my vehicle was totalled and where the drivers side airbag never inflated, functioned at alland was defective.vehicle was on service road in motion
While driving about 35 mph upon impact, the airbags did not deploy, causinginjuries to the occupants.the manufacturer has been notified.
Starter failed.
Failure of the temperature sensor causes the engine to stop dead without warning.this happened twice before the problem was fixed. I was lucky not to be in a vulnerable situation!
Whenin stop and go trafficvehicle stalls/ shuts off without prior warning.then,after she turned vehicle ondashboard.stated transmission was in limp mode, and engine check light was on.
Recall item failed, tried to replace not available. No safety defec tmentioned.
Air bag signal light failed.
Purchased a vehicle at auction it was running fine however i noticed at times when driving it randomly shuts down weather in the middle of the highway while driving on the streets turning corners etc. Blocking traffic and putting my life in danger and others in the car. There's no warning the car is driving fine it just shuts down were you cannot move it forward you cannot reverse it's just stuck. Researched online and it seems to be a known issue however when i contacted a jaguar dealer in scottsdale they stated there is no recall from my van number. This is a serious and dangerous issue which in time will cost someone their life it should be placed on a recall for all known vehicles with this issue and more. Driving down i 17 cars stalled i had to pull off in a unsafe area and was stuck there for literally 30 to 45 minutes unable to move the vehicle. Also driving in tempe the car stalled why turning a corner had to turn into the parking lot or a completely died stolley traffic to one lane. Again in phoenix driving the vehicle the car stalled at 118 outside with an infant in the backseat car will not start normal move had to pull into a circle k and call a lyft to get the baby out of harms way. As a result of leaving my car off of i 17 and the highway my car was broken into which the door is damaged as well as the gears someone attempting to steal the car. Jaguar should be held accountable, this is unacceptable and dangerous.

Transmission (limp home mode). Coming to a stop exiting the ramp the car shuts off, and when started again the transmission light is on, and limp home mode. This was taken in for service and the technician said no codes where presented in the computer to indicate a problem therfore they reset it and said it just beacuse of a sudden stop.
Rear end (differential) problem. When driving at about 40 miles an hour you can hear a roaring noise from the rear end (sounds like a truck instead of a luxury vehicle). This supposedly was fixed by prior service, however the problem still exist and service technician admittedly hear the same noise that again has been reported over and over since purchasing the car.
Brakes (soft brake pedal) when pressing the brake pedal it goes too close to the floor. This supposedly has been adjusted by the technician.however service states that this is normal for this type of car and the problem still exists.
The brakes pads are prematurely wearing out.cause unknown.please give any further details.

Rear inside door handle broke.
Aftervehicle has been drivenand standing still for a few minutesengine check light illuminated and stayed on.vehicle showed no other sign of a problem. Dealer was notified. Please provide more information.

In reverse i was backing into my carport. When i needed more gas the throttle hung and it made it impossible to control and i backed thur the wall and into the kitchen approx 4 feet inside taking out my doors and kitchen cabinets the stove and other valuables, at approx 20 plus mph the throttle had hung up before in forward but never in reverse.i was hurt and the car recieved rear end damage but im really concerned about other people having this problem and killing someone if anyone had been behind the car or in my kitchen they could have been killed.
While driving vehicle stalled out, consumer stated the throttle malfunctioned.consumer received a recall leter after already experiencing the problem with the vehicle stalling out, the dealer then informed the consumer that the recalled part was not available.
Accelerator pedal appeared to stick.when pedal was released, engine did not throttle down, resulting in revs remaining at previous level, and speed unchanged.when driven on the highway, this means that speed remains at 55 even when accelerator pedal is not depressed.sometimes, runaway acceleration occurs. I took vehicle to my mechanic.he rebuilt the throttle body.problem unsolved.he then did some research and found that there was a defective design for the 1996 throttle body, which was subsequently changed.he installed the new design, and the problem went away. I reported it to jaguarusa.they said because the vehicle was out of warranty, there was nothing they could do, but they would send me $100 "boutique dollars" as a gift. Incident date is approximate.
Consumer states that gas pedal is sticking.dealer modified engine breather system and cleaned throttle body, however, problem still exist.
Accelerator sticks. This has been repeatedly reported to the service department that services my car and i reported it to jaguarusa. This is a serious issue that needs attention for jaguar to fix.via my research there was a recall for 1997 models via the nhtsa but not for the 96 models. Please assist in this matter.
Consumer states wiper blad does not clear windshield and interior rearview mirror glass discolored.dealer replaced wiper blades and rearview mirror.
