Ignition failure resulted in vehicle fire, possibly related to the faulty design of the marelli ignition system. *mjs

Vehicle fails to start with turn of key. After several attempts it will start.

The contact owns a 1994 jaguar xj12.the contact stated that the vehicle developed a leak in the coolant expansion tank along the seam weld.while driving 55 mph, the radiator fluid leaked and the vehicle overheated.the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred.recall service # 5451 was found on autozone.com (alldata).the dealer will diagnose the failure on july 13, 2007, per the recall notice.the purchase date was unavailable.the current mileage is 71,000 and failure mileage was 63,000.

Vehicle hesitates when accelerating due to coolant temperature sensor failure.

This is a 12 cylinder engine with only 6 cylindersworking. This caused unburned fuel and air to be pumped into the fuel exhaust system, which then overheated the catalytic converter and started a fire.dealer has been contacted.

Vehicle continues to experience engine failures, hydraulic reservior leaking on one repair.

Oxygen sensor relay failed, resulting in vehicle not starting.
