Problems with vehicle's engine and fuel pump. *mr the vehicle would sputter and jolt, the check engine light had come on, it turned out that one of the injector plugs were not fully connected and the fuel system needed repairs and parts replaced. The vehicle started to leak gasoline.the consumer requested a new vehicle with no recalls or problem with the fuel system. *sc
The gear box malfunctioned.the transmission stuck in low gear.there was double hesitation when moving from low gear (in automatic move), and did not occur before the last gear box fault.the a/c screen blinked on/off.the audio unit was reprogrammed, the module was reconfigured, the gear selector was replaced, and the transmission was replaced.*scc

At least 6 times this 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5 automatic; would suddenly accelerate after exiting car while running in park, then reentering car, put foot on brake and put car in drive then the engine starts racing and the car tries to move even when standiing on the brake as hard as possible. Very dangerous, if foot slipped off brake, might get killed. Does this on level ground and on inclines. Once almost shot me through my garage. Took to dealer, still under waranty, can't find any thing wrong.
