Heatilator electric fireplace insertelectronic board and wires shorted out and burned. We were parked in a campsite and luckily sitting there as sparks flew plus wires smoking. I unplugged unit so nothing else would burn. It did not throw a fuse or breaker. Wires were just hanging from heating unit.

In 2009, we discovered that water was leaking from the windshield onto the dashboard.took it to the dealership and they applied silicone and apparently stopped the leak temporarily.now again, in 2012 the windshield has started leaking again and it appears that the frame the windshield sets in is rusted.it is our understanding, that if this is not fixed the windshield could pop out and result in an incident that could be very dangerous. In addition, many owners of either winnebago's or itasca's (made by winnebago) indicate that rust is an inherent problem with the frames that the windshield sets in on winnebago's motorhomes.

Windshield leaking due to the metal framework the windshields were attached to was rusted and the glass to metal seal failed.it is my understanding that in a rain storm the windshields could fail and fall out causing a safety hazard while driving.

The contact owns 2007 itasca suncruiser winnebago. While driving approximately 55 mph the warning light indicator was illuminated. There was a loud noise and the hydraulic jack detached underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and a technician replaced the hydraulic jack. The failure occurred on 3 seperate occasions. The vehicle is currently being serviced by an authorized dealer. The contact was very concern about the safety risk issue involved. The failure mileage was 1,000 and the current mileage was 4,000.
