I own a 2000 isuzu vehi crossthe frame is rusting out. I bought it in 1997 it had 91,051 miles the same materials as the rodeo were used i want to be reimbursed foe the value of the car as it is unsafe to drive.

I own a 2000 vehicross by isuzu. I bought it used a few months ago and have 65,000 miles on it. I also owned another 2000 vx that was totaled in an accident.my first one, and this new one has ha the power window mechanism on the driver's side fail, and the passanger side is failing due to a track alignment issue.upon coming in contact with an organization of several hundred vehicross enthusiasts i discovered that this type of window failure is epidemic with this model car. Some of the owners have had multiple failures -- i.e., the windows have been fixed only to fail again, sometimes three or four times. I understand isuzu denies there is a problem. On the other hand i understand there are official documents by isuzu that do recognize this problem. Since there was a limited distribution of this particular model car -- somewhere in the area of 4000 plus over a four year period -- it appears the window failure rate is a high percentage of that total number. I would ask that the department investigate this problem, including investigation of the internal isuzu document mentioned above. If there is, as it appears, a design flaw in the window mechanism, then there are hundreds of vehicross owners who have improperly been charged to repair it, sometimes multiple times.

I bought an isuzu vehicross and for the first month, everything worked fine. 6 weeks after my purchase, my driver side window came completely off track. I have had it fixed 3 separate times, and now my passenger side is starting to fail. Isuzu claims it is not a design flaw, but i have spoken with several of their mechanics at various dealers and they've all admitted to this being a very common problem which isuzu won't deal with.

I am leasing a 2000 isuzu vehicross. I have had the power windows on both sides of the car either bind or drop down in between the door. Once even while i was driving. Fortunately for me my warranty has been covering this defect, but it seems that the "repair" does not last too long. I think much of it has to do with a change in temperature.the first timeboth windows were effected and i was at about 26,000 miles.then 36,000, 40,000 and just recently (6/2005) at 69,000 miles for just the passenger side window. I'm sure the driver's side is about due to happen again so i thought i would file this complaint now.i have been in communication with many vehicross owners that had to pay for their own repairs and this is not fair. Even though i have been lucky thanks to my warranty; istill wish to file a complaint. Thank you for your time!

1) normal use2) the failure was in both the driver and passenger windows, and it has made dangerous driving conditions. The windows roll down fine, but wont roll back up. It is very frustrating when i amgoing 60 mph on the highway, and i can't get my windows up, especially when its raining here in the seattle area. There has not been an accident caused by this failure yet, but it is an a problem that needs to be fixed. I have talked with other owners of my vehicle, and they also have the same problem with the windows. The isuzu company has denied any problems with there windows, but is evident there is one. 3) i was told by an isuzu dealership in tacoma, wa to spray silicone in the tracks of the windows. It did help for about 3 hours, then the problem got even worse. It seems that isuzu is turning its back on its customers.

I have a continuing power window mechanism problem that is affecting both windows.it was fixed once prior to me purchasing the vehicle.the repairs were not covered by the warranty sice the vehicle was nmore than three years old at the time.through a user group, i've been made aware that the window problemis quite common.isuzu denies that there is a problem.

I own a 2000 isuzu vehicross.a few months ago the power window mechanism on the driver's side had to be replaced due to a failure of the track alignment. This repair cost me over $500.i had been in contact with several hundred vehicross current & previous owners through a website online. I discovered that this particular problem with window failure is rampant with the isuzu vehicross. Some of the owners have had multiple failures -- i.e., the windows have been fixed only to fail again, sometimes three or more times. I have contacted isuzu but they deny there is a problem. On the other hand i understand there are official documents by isuzu that do recognize this problem. Since there was a limited distribution of this particular model car -- somewhere in the area of 4000 plus over a four year period -- it appears the window failure rate is a high percentage of that total number. The windows of my 2000 isusu vehicross constantly bind up.i've had to remove the seal around the windows just to get them to roll up.this is a constant problem with the make of the vehicle and is a serious annoyance!

Visibility ofrear view mirrors are poor.when changing lanes there is a possibility that a vehicle can be next to you. Contacted dealer.

Blind spots are terrible.you cannot "shoulder check" when doing lane changes becuase there is a no window.the small window provided is blocked by the headrest of the passenger.the rear windoware too small and too high to be useful to see any vehicles behind you.very unsafe for driving.
