First off for the past year my 99 isuzu rodeo has had the fuel gauge so it's empty or only half for regrowth of just filling the it up with gas or not then comes three days ago i'm driving down i 84 from portland oregon to hermiston oregon and about cascade locks i go over a bump on the freeway and all the sudden it just completely dies though dash lights flicker the gauges all go down to nothing and then all the sudden it turn right back on this continue to happen consistently as it went over any type of bump and made it to hermiston and i'm getting it look out on monday i don't know what the issue is but it's really dangerous because it happens even at low speeds now and i'm wish i don't have enough to keep it going overdue on the freeway this should have been recalled issue why is it not been recalled i see this problem 100 thousands of complaints

While traveling on the highway and without prior warning vehicle will shut down and will not restart.

I bought a 1999 isuzu rodeo 4x4 from auto west honda at the roseville auto mall in sacramento ca. I purchased this car approximately 4 years ago without a warranty. I was desperate for a car and the extended warranty was not affordable. The isuzu had a problem with the a/c about a week after buying the car. I took it back to the dealer and the looked at it free of charge. They found that there was a leak in a hose and it would cost $600 to fix. Do to the fact that it was not a driving hazard the regular warranty would not cover the cost. After driving the isuzu for about 2 months the fuel gage malfunctioned. I did some research online and with other owners of isuzu?s and found that they all had similar complaints about there a/c and fuel gauges. I also found that the sending unit inside the fuel tank easily malfunctions in many of the rodeos though an online blog about this product. I believe that i have the same problem but do not have the finances to repair. I was wondering if there was anything i could do to fix my issue with this car. The dealerships have always given me the run around when i ask questions and so i gave up. Then moments ago a friend told me about this web site that i can trust.

Received recall notice on brakes, but consumer wasn't able to make modifications in a reasonable time because dealership where vehicle was purchased closed its operations. *la the consumer requested a replacement vehicle with a new brake system.(replace the vehicle with a new one that has not been recalled) *sc
The abs light illuminated on the dashboard, and when the brakes were applied, the pedal traveled to the floor.
When the brakes were applied in inclement weather, the abs did not hold, which caused the vehicle to skid.
Whenever the brakes are applied vehicle would accelerate. Vehicle had slid into a curb & then finally intoa metal bar. The problem was intermittent. Took vehicle to dealership 6 or 7 times for problem. Was test driven by mechanic & nothing found. Vehicle was not repaired.
Isuzu rodeo. Consumer states that the bottom of the vehicle let out. She would like reimbursement for the cost of transportation that it is costing to take her daughter to and from work.
