Electrical systems failed (including abs sensors).breaks would not function (could not depress breaks).wife and 6 yo son in car were lucky to not have been killed as car rolled onto busy road.told by dealer that abs system malfunctioned

This problematic infiniti qx60 had failed once again while i was on the highway.it's just dead and the engine refused to start.i had to call the tow truck to drop off at the kings infiniti auto shop for repair.first, it was a huge inconvenience that they couldn't take a look at the vehicle until a week later.second, no one ever offered me a loaner car to take home and has still denied this request. We depend on this for work and school. Third, just today i was informed by the infiniti technician that i would be responsible for the repair fees of $13,000 due to engine failure!seriously?! this is absolutely ridiculous and i have never heard of it from anywhere.to me this is totally unacceptable and i strongly believe it is the manufacturer guilty of the car issues and suspecting this is a car dealer fraud.$13,000 repair cost is ridiculously high, you could put down a down payment for a condo or to buy a lower grade nissan sendra. I am extremely disappointed at the unreliability of this vehicle and the company in general. I've been leasing vehicles from numerous car brands for the last 10 years and have never experienced an issue even remotely tedious and frustrating as this. We've already dealt with the minor issues ourselves but how could we be expected to be responsible for an engine failure that isn't our fault? as i had mentioned above, i have regularly kept up the maintenance schedule as listed on the car manual for all types of oil change, changing engine filter, etc. I'm attaching all the receipts we could find for the maintenance services that were done from the last couple of years. It is impossible that the engine could fail due to "lack of maintenance".

I purchased this vehicle as a new vehicle. Shortly after purchasing the vechicle i began to hear rattling and noises. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they refused to offer assistance. The manufacturer did assist. They sent an inspector in to review the vehicle and they gave me compensation for my numerous service visits. However the rattling remains. Additionally the driver seat moves back and forth and mg gas tank is loose.

The transmission started shuttering in the 20-25 mph range on 8/16/19. I took it in for service the next day and they replaced the transmission control valve on 8/23. The shuttering returned on 9/1 and now occurs between 20 to 60 mph. This issue occurs during highway or street driving. Vehicle has 31k plus miles

Ii bought this vehicle in 2019 with 16k on it they replaced the transfer case, with 73k on it i had to replace same transfer case again, now with 93k its hasleaked again. This is a expensive venture as 4 other vehicle owners are suffering with the same problem

The driver seat on this vehicle is loose. It rocks when i drive. The vehicle is still under warranty; however, the manufacturer/dealership has not resolved this issue. I have reported several concerns regarding this vehicle.

I previously leased the qx50 and had no issues with that vehicle.we traded it in for more room and upgraded to the qx60.brakes began squealing intermittently 6 months after leasing (leased brand new in june 2018) and took it to the dealership we leased it from.the squeal occurs when driving in reverse during application of the brakes. (my husband believes its an issue with the calipers.) we were told that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. At the second service department (serviced in july 2019 since the squealing has gotten much worse) i was handed a "service bulletin" saying that the noise is normal, and no service action is necessary (see attached bulletin for more details).i contacted the infiniti consumer affairs group and filed a complaint.i was told today (7/26/19) that there was no course for vehicle replacement or repairs and there was nothing they could do at this time.i have done my research on infiniti vehicles and there are repeated issues with brakes on different makes and models.one was a severe accident in 2012 where the brakes faltered on a qx56 and 3 family members were killed.infiniti was held liable and paid $25m.another more recent class action lawsuit (2016) has been filed on the qs50 by an individual in california, that claims he has had numerous brake issues (see case no. 2:16-cv-07378) with no resolution with infiniti.in this particular claim, it sites a 2014 litigation over defective brakes that were causing brake failure in multiple models.no other details were available on the 2014 litigation.what can the nhtsa do to either take infiniti off of american roads until the issue is resolved or take serious action against infiniti to force them to provide their drivers with safe braking systems?
