The manufacturer was contacted and stated that they rely on the dealer for diagnostic testing and would go with their recommendations. The contact was informed to visit another infiniti dealer if he wanted a second opinion. The contact stated that the failure also occurred with another q70 model he previously owned. The failure mileage was 5,000.
