On three separate days, i had trouble stopping my brand new infiniti m35. The first day, on four occasions when i applied the brakes, the car bucked and shook and continued to go forward before finally stopping. On the second and third days, this occurred twice each day. Several people saw this happening and screemed for me to put the car into neutral or turn off the motor. I took the car to the infiniti dealer three times for this problem. Checked the computer read out, road tested the vehicle for 70 miles, and inspected it thoroughly but could not duplicate the problem. My friend tried twice to apply the brake and accelerator pedal simultaneously but could not duplicate the problem that i had. On each occasion, i was scared to death and was shaking and sweating. I am afraid that i will be killed in this car due to a malfunction that can not be diagnosed. If anyone else has had a similar problem, please report it so that infiniti will know that they have a serious, intermittent problem with the m35 that might end up by killing people. *dt

I was driving on i-5 north ca going between lathrop and stockton where the speed limit is 70 mph when my vehicle's engine seemed to shift into neutral. I barely had enough power to get off the fwy ramp where it was safe to park.i then had the car towed to an infiniti dealer and had them check the car. After the car was hooked up to a diagnostic machine, i was told that the rightmass air flow sensor-22680-7s00a needed to be replaced.i was also told that when this sensor went bad, the engine goes into a neutral mode or close to shutdown mode to prevent damage to other parts of the engine.once the engine problemwas diagnosed, the part was replaced and the car functioned fine. What surprised me was thatthe service technicianswere aware of the problem. This causes me great concern because there was no warning lights to indicate a problem before, during, or even after the engine malfunctioned.the car had to be hooked up to a machine to detect what was wrong.i was so frighten when this occurred because i could have been rear ended as a result of the car losing power in a matter of seconds. I replaced the left mass air flow sensor because i don't want to ever be in that same situation again.i don't feel safe driving this vehicle!

On 5/8/15 i left paint shop and was going down a driveway (downhill) and as i approached street (rt 26 libery road) i pressed brake and my car would not stop. I repeatedly pressed brake and it continued to go forward into street. Cars were honking and swerving to avoid hitting me. I continued to press brake however my car continued to go forward about 100 meters thru a red light nearly colliding withseveral carsat the intersection of marriottsville & liberty road before it came to a stop. I immediately notified the jba infiniti dealership and infiniti's corporate office who transferred me to infiniti consumer affairs (case # 18774908) i was informed that to date, there have not been any issues like this incident regardingbrakes for my year make & model (2010 infiniti m35x). My car was immediately taken to the dealership for assessment. Note: my car had infiniti express service performed on 5/1/15 & tech only recommendation were for tires.

I bought a 2010 infiniti m35x from a honda dealer with 80000 miles. During the first highway trip i found out that it's too hard to keep this vehicle within the driving lane without constant steering adjustments. The car moves to one side or the other if the road is not perfect. Also if i took my eyes off the road for a split second i could risk leaving my lane. This is a very unsettling driving experience. I took the car back to the dealer for possible wheel alignment. They checked the wheel alignmentand told me that it was off and that it was fixed. Nothing changed at all. The salesman blamed it on the tires and stated that the problem should be fixed when the tires are changed. The car has good tires and doesn't need new ones now. I double checked the tire pressure and brakes as they suggested. Everything seems to be in order. The vehicle has a clean carfax record. In my search i found similar complains about the same model car which explained my problem. I understand that infiniti denies the fact that there is a problem and refuses to do anything about it.
The contact owns a 2010 infiniti m35. The contact stated that the steering wheel seized in a upward position. The contact was unable to use the adjustable button to release the steering wheel in the appropriate position. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 42,000. The vin was not available.
I frequently incur tramlining when driving my m35 infinity.almost any asphalt surface that has a paving overlap will cause it, and in some instances, it feels as though the steering wheel will be ripped from my hands.in fact, this event occurred yesterday, jul 15 on the east access road in tubac, az.this is truly a serious defect and unbecoming to the infinity brand.
I have a 2006 infiniti m35x that pulls to the right/left all the time i have changed my tires twice but that did not solve the problem. I have found out from other owners that it is the steering that is causing this problem rack and pinoin.
Vehicle steering seems to have its own mind at almost all speeds and tends to lunge from one side to another requiring continuous correction. The wheels seem to follow most every deformity / irregularity of the road. One instance the vehicle moved over from one lane to the middle of adjoining lane almost causing a crash. When stopping the steering can swing upto 45 to 60 degrees in either direction. Have taken the car to the dealer more than three times - first time with 18000 miles on the car. Have always been advised that everything was normal. Researched on web and found many similar complaints with this model car described as 'tramlining'. Last time i took a print out of numerous similar complaints from the web to the dealer but they still refused to acknowledge the problem. They said there is no solution offered by infiniti for this problem and recommended to change the tires. Have changed the oem tires at 26000 miles, done alignment three times, brakes serviced but the problem persists. Have reported the problem to the infiniti customer service as well but no solution offered. I feel infiniti is denying to recognize this serious problem which has the potential to be a major safety issue.
Driving with cruise control on, 70mph zone, slight downhill speed of 72mph.new rear tires, very good condition front tires, 1 day old 4 wheel alignment, concrete highway surface in sunny dry conditions, approximate outside temp 65.vehicle and steering wheel jerked to the right with steering wheel displacing approximately 30-45 degrees from center to the right, followed by a jerk and displacement to the left of approximately 30-45 degrees to the left and repeated to the right and left again... Car was uncontrollable... Reduced speed, killed cruise control, lightly applied brakes.car became more controllable as speed was reduced.major auto repair location and ase certified mechanics diagnosed as problem with rack and pinion, possibly "a stuck valve" causing excessive steering inputs to be allowed at higher speeds than normal.

When car is slowing down, it will jump wildly with the rpm's and shift into different gears. Car could hit another car or person if the brake is not held firmly. Cannot get the local dealer or corp. To acknowledge the problem or fix it. The car is still under warranty. The problem is getting worse but the dealer says to drive it until there is a hard failure. I am concerned the car will jump and hit something or someone. The dealer says there could be a computer problem but they are not sure and do not want to eat the cost of a computer if that is not the problem. I looked this situation up on google and found that this problem is known for this particular model car. It did not do this before until about six months ago.
