There are cracks all along the airbags in the front of the vehicle just like the previous recalled infiniti models

I have contacted the nissan consumers and filed a report approximately 2-months ago and was given an incident number.i had complained about several cracks on my dashboard in my 2007 infiniti m35.my vehicle of low mileage and well maintained and kept in the garage.i have never utilized any other products on the dashboards.i have been reviewing several postings by other consumers that have been dealing with the same issue and the dealership refuses to install a new dashboard due to the age of the vehicle.this is a malfunction of production on nissan infiniti part and all those consumers affected should get a free dashboard replacement for the defective of part when car was made into production.to-date there's a recall on the airbag which no part still has come or delivered yet to the dealership.i am addressing my grave concern and hope that other consumers will file a class action suit again the nissan infiniti for selling these certain kind of vehicles with defects and do not want to honor the replacement of dashboards that were improperly produced by the manufacturer.for a luxury car to have such problems then i am very appalled due to the fact that's all i mostly purchase is nissan vehicles.this matter needs to be rectified with all consumers that are having the same issue as i am with this particular vehicle and other models of the infiniti are having the same or similar problems.

Takata recall my vehicle has been in the service dept since 10/31/2016 i was issued a rental car but i would like nothing more than to get the vehicle back that i am currently paying for. This is an inconvenience for myself and my family. Driving a rental is like walking on pins and needles. Being extra careful.

Takata recall: apparently recall was issued in may 2016 but i received the notice only around july 2016.i have inquired from my dealer and contacted infiniti consumer affairs concerning date when the repair will be done.the repair has not been done and i called infiniti of charlotte on 11/08/2016.i was told that the parts are not available andinfiniti does not have a clue as to when the parts will be available. I have put my infiniti on a very restricted use driving only around 10 miles and i have not allowed any passenger to ride in the car when i drive it.this has been very inconvenient for my wife and me.the infiniti dealership where i have my infiniti service and maintenance is infiniti of charlotte east independence blvd, matthews, nc 28105.(704-847-9010)

Takata inflators - what can i do to have this recall corrected?as of today infiniti has taken no action (other than send out notices there is a recall) nor do they have any estimated timeframe to correct this recall issue. I do not have use of my front seat (with my older grandchild) due to his recall.is there any law that requires infiniti to fix this issue within a specific timeframe?thank you for your attention to this matter.

My vehicle has had a recall for the passenger side airbag.my letter that i received early this year advised me to not allow a passenger to be seated on the passenger front seat.i have been to the local infiniti dealer her in lexington ky and they have not received parts?i have received no follow up communication.i cannot operate a vehicle that will not allow me to have a passenger seated safely.i will be liable for any incident that might occur since i have knowledge of this recall. Totally unacceptable that if this is as dangerous as it is being touted that parts are not available.what is my options at this point?thanks[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Takata recall. Recall issued 1/10/2017, manufacturer recall number 1701, nhtsa recall number 17v-028.have not heard from dealer!

Takata inflators. Recall from may 2016, letter specifically says do not allow passengers to ride in the passenger seat. I think enough time has been allowed for the manufacturer to remedy this problem. In the mean time, i have a family of 5 and have to have someone ride in the passenger seat. I would like for this to be taken care of more promptly and not almost a year later have the status state "recall incomplete - remedy not yet available?????

Takata recall - we are nearly nine months into this and my car is still not repaired - they have scheduled me twice only to cancel the day before due to installation issues with other cars or lack of product to do the repair.infiniti offered to rent a car for me but logistically that does not work as we live over an hour from the dealer and i do not have space to store another vehicle in our driveway and they will not store the car at the dealership.i would like infiniti to at the very least to reimburse me for value of the rental on a monthly basis until this is resolved - retroactively to the date of the recall.this recall and the restrictions on passengers has been a real challenge to me.

Takata recall - infiniti m35 2007received the recall notice around 6 months ago and never got a second letter for an appointment. Just called the infiniti dealer and was told they will order the parts and my appointment will be in two more months. Why weren't the parts already on order? why did i have to call? why is it going to take two more months? no one to ride in the passenger seat for 8 months! totally ridiculous for a major safety problem.

"takata recall"... Recall was issuednhtsa 16v-349 around may 2016. No results from dealer as of this date. This is a disgrace, why bother with a recall if it can not be enforced and provide results.?? is this another ineffective agency? a lot of people employed but apparently producing few results.

"takata recall"this recall has been issued since may 2016. It is now october 2016. The initial letter stated that the passenger air bag may rupture under continued exposure of high humidity, and stated that the dealership is waiting on parts to perform the recall. It also stated not to allow passengers in your front seat during this time. Very difficult to do if you only have one vehicle to your house. I called infinit and there advice was "keep your seat pushed all the way back, and where a seat belt in the main time, call back next month the parts should be in". I find this highly unprofessional, and highly unsafe. When toyota did a recall for faulty air bags of the same caliber they actually gave my friend a loaner car until the parts came in for them to repair his vehicle. At least they gave him options, this dealership is full of them selves and should be ashamed.

Tamara recallnotification of recall received 6/2016. Infiniti unable to repair due to parts.finally arranged repair with infinit 1/3/2017. Now infiniti says parts used to repair were for 2008 and later models. Part numbers installed 985617999e air bag inflator. B4a67eh50d harness kit sub. Repair invoice # incs10700. Infiniti of cincinnati.dealership has tried to get information from infiniti as to whether or not this part is acceptable for 2007 but cannot get response.dealer indicates part appeared identical and there are no lights indicating the system would not function.the dealership provided a loaner for 2 weeks while they tried to get update from infiniti.they were unable to do so.dealership has tried their best at this point and i believe the issue lies with infiniti.no parts specified for the 2007 model have been available.at this point we are now 9 months into this without a resolution.if the parts they installed will work, i si,ply need infiniti to verify this and provide documentation in writing that an acceptable repair has been made. If not, i need them to replace these parts with the correct one.

"takata recall"i was never notified by infiniti that there was a recall for a passenger airbag on my vehicle.i found out on my own that a recall existed. I purchased and financed my used infiniti m35 through the dealer and financed through infiniti finance.now i have been told that the parts on back order until 2017.

Still no parts since july 2016 can not use front passenger side of vehicle.

Takata recall:may 23, 2016manufacturer recall numberr1622nhtsa recall number16v-349recall statusrecall incompleteaccording to this recall, it states that i should not have passengers in the car because the airbag could deploy at any time and may send metal pieces flying. This is the only form of transportation that i own, it is not only inconvenient not to be able to drive others around (i have 2 kids) but it makes me worried about myself. How long does it take for them to get the parts to replace this issue? how much longer are we to endure this inconvenience and stress? it has been almost 2 years.

Takata recall. I was involved in a accident on 9/10/2016. The air bag exploded and as a result i have broken ribs and caused a anjorysm and fluid in the lungs. Car was totaled. The accident was on i 30 in fort worth texas

As i was driving on a normal city street in regular traffic, the driver seat suddenly started moving forward, powered by the seat control. I reached down to push the lever/seat control back, but the seat motor would not stop; it pushed the seat fully forward. I stopped the car to move it back and was unable to. The other seat functions worked: up, down, tilt, etc. This has happened on four separate occasions. The last three times the seat motor has started working again of its own accord. This time it is still stuck forward.

I am getting a code of p1772 low coast solenoid valve within the transmit ion. When this does this the engine will not shift into gear when vehicle is on the road, and will just coast and we have no control of the vehicle. Nissan knows about it and has it procedure to diagnose it. Vehicle is in motion at the time. Faulty censor within the valve body. Infinity part number: 3175017x4e

Right rear door does not lock or unlock when driver activates door lock lever. Also does not unlock or lock when using the remote door lock/unlock device. This first occurred at about 100,000 miles. The dealership diagnosed the problem as a faulty door lock assembly and said the repair cost would be over $700. I chose not to have it repaired.the same problems apply to the front passenger side door. This occurred at about 110,000 miles. Again i chose not to spend $700+ to repair that.the same problems apply to the driver side door.this occurred at about 113,000 miles. I again chose not to pay $700+ for repairs.since three of my four doors have now exhibited the same defect, i asked the dealer to have an infinity representative contact me. I was contacted and told that infinity would not take any responsibility for the costs of these needed repairs because of the mileage and age of the car.

My pedal stopped working, then it cut completely off while i was driving on a major hwy doing 60mph. I just received a recall notice in the email yesterday 11.12.2013, nhtsa recall 13v-430, now, i spoke with a rep stating i will receive another notice. This action has already happened to me and i have replaced it out of my own pocket. I do not see why i should have to wait on a second notice. Clearly in the recall letter it states, if the mil is illuminated, contact your infiniti retailer immediately and it will make arrangements for an immediate repair. Do not continue using your vehicle. Again, this has already happened to me and i have paid for the replacement, what am i waiting for in order to get a full refund?????

Going down hwy 11 doing about 40 to 50 mph ; as mash the gas the car stated slowing down. I check to make sure that my car was still in drive and it was. I pull over in a parking lot and call my brother. We tried restart it but we was unsuccessful. No warring of any kind; no smoke, no dash lights, no nose of any kind it just cut off. I had to have it taken to shop and find out my motor is gone. I have not had my car a year as yet . I am very upset.

My drive shaft broke while i was on the highway driving at 65mph. The drive shaft then bang a massive dent in the engine. 1200$ i was lucky enough to be alive to report this

This car should be called, it is unsafe to drive as the engine just stops. I was driving along, when all of sudden my car just died, when i stopped, i couldn't get the vehicle started, it was acting like it didn't have gas or the battery died. A light saying vdc (slipped) turned on as well as the service engine soon. I let it sit for a few minutes and it started. The engine stopped when i was on the freeway with my grandchildren so i started to pull over and the engine came back on.i looked on line and the infiniti g35 was recalled for this reason and since my car is an m35 the dealership would not give me the recall. Here is the info on the g35 recall and see my bill attached. Check engine light and engine stalling on infiniti g35the crankshaft angle sensor or the camshaft position sensor can fail and cause loss of engine power, an engine that cuts out, and other drivability problems. This will cause the check engine light to illuminate. Certain models have been involved in a recall to replace the camshaft and crankshaft sensors. Warm air was coming out of the vents.i took it to the local infiniti dealer and this was the diagnosis. Compressor : clutch failed to engage in compressor & therefore i had no air conditioning. I bought the vehicle new in october of 2006.it only has 35,800 miles.there is no reason for a compressor on any car to malfunction at 35,000 miles and certainly not on a luxury auto.parts were $830, labor was $369, plus tax.total cost of repair was $1354.00.i have owned cars made by ford, gm, toyota, bmw and have never had a compressor problem.i kept an 2002 toyota and a1996 bmw for 10 years with no compressor problems.

Headlights don't illuminate the road properly.

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35.the contact stated that it was impossible to refuel the vehicle.the dealer inserted a valve cover in the fuel tank to repair the defect.the manufacturer was notified, but denied any assistance with repairs to the defect.the vehicle was repaired.the failure mileage was 38,480 and the current mileage was 38,580.

Fuel gauge does not read correspond to amount of fuel in tank. When car is empty fuel gauge continues to show 1/4 tank leading to dangerous stalls in traffic. There was a recall issued for 2003-2004 m45 vehicles for this exact same problem.

During the town driving car lost complete power. All the light on dash board including "mil" light came on. As a result i had to get emergency repairs costing $ 600. I also took car to dealership where to reprogram throttle position sensor cost me over $120.00. Two weeks later i get notice from infinity that this a known issue and they will come up with solution for this problem. To this date i have not heard anything for either reimbursement or a fix..

I was driving the car in the national redwood park i-101 south bound just 100 mile south of eureka, the car suddenly lose power and came with loud noise, then just big white smoke everywhere, i almost lost control of this vehicle but finally pull over to the shoulder, asked my wife & my kid go out immediately for the potential fire, the transmission fluid was everywhere. After took long time and long negotiation to tow my car to a nissan dealer about 100 mile away, they diagnosed the issue:the internal transmission oil cooler hose detached from the cooler due to inadequate clamping, allowing transmission fluid to leak. Which is exactly the same recall filed recently as "2013 nissan pathfinder recalled for transmission fluid leak". I brought my vehicle to my local infiniti dealer and have both records for that.

2006 and 2007 infiniti m35's have well documented problems with the seat track breaking.it actually starts off by the seat sliding back and forth during braking and accelerating.it then gets progressively worse as time goes on till the seat rail itself breaks.at that point the seat moves and leans into the center console.i had a 2006 infiniti m35 with this problem and i now have a 2007 infiniti m35 with it.the dealer cost to fix is $1200.00.infiniti owners are not having this fixed due to the cost and are driving a vehicle that should be considered a safety hazard.infiniti will not fix this if its out of warranty.this should be considered a recall.i only hope that this small complaint will be the one that makes something happen.thank you.

Front driver seat tilts towards center console. The seat rubs against the console when the seat is adjusted upon entry and remains tilted at an angle causing back pain on extended drives. My mechanic and an infiniti dealer have both said i need to replace the seat assembly for a total cost of $1200. The dealer service representative acknowledges that this problem has been seen before with these cars, but infiniti was not doing anything for their customers regarding about this common problem. In my nearly 40 years of driving, the vast majority of it on much cheaper and less luxurious cars, i have never had a seat assembly bend or break. This is a defect in this car. This problem and infiniti's lack of support will deleteriously affect my decision to purchase an infiniti in the future.

While driving on a parkway in rush hour traffic the drivers seat suddenly dropped, making it difficult to see over the steering wheel.i am 6 ft. 1 in. Tall. It is my opinion someone 5 ft. 8 in. Tall would not be able to see over the dashboard. I took the vehicle to the infiniti dealer who diagnosed the problem as a broken lower seat track weld which had to be replaced at the vehicle ownerscost of $1,519. It appears that there has been approximately 25 previous reports of this type of problem and perhaps many others that have not been reported. It seems that this is a safety issue and should warrant a manufacturers recall.

Driver's seat collapsed and came off tracks while car was being driven. Defective welds (as stated by infiniti certified dealer service center) holding seat assembly determined to be cause. Infiniti diagnosis; seat track broken. Requiring replacement of front adjuster assembly; part # 87450-eh00a. Cost of part $835.15. Labor to install; $399.36. This is a nissan/infiniti problem reported previously to nhtsa on numerous occasions. Dealer service department stats that weld failure causes seat to collapse. Problem is longstanding, well documented, and known to infiniti. In spite of this, no remediation, other than repair at owner's expense, has been offered by infiniti. This weld failure is a serious safety related matter that is not the result of abuse, maintenance neglect, or overstress to seat or seat assembly. The has been acknowledged by repair personnel at dealership that carried out the repair.

The left front driver seat began moving slightly fwd/back when braking and accelerating at @ 75k miles.then that assembly just broke (seat settled) as i got in the car one day and i can no longer move it back and forth or up/down at all.so rail broke and then the seat motor died.i have read of so many of these stories with this year vehicle.upon research, i found they only used this assy from 5/2006 to 9/2007.i have to believe nissan/infiniti knew they had an issue with this design.

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35. The contact stated that while attempting to adjust the front driver seat, the lever failed and the seat did not move. The failure recurred continuously. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the seat weld fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.updated 6/17/15

Since purchase the seat has always moved slightly forward during braking but now it leans towards the center consule and looking on-line it appears that it is common for a weld to break in the seat causing the lean and discomfort.

While braking i feel the seat slides forward. Then when accelerated the seat slides back. I contacted the dealer, they are aware of the issue, but will not repair it because it is out of warranty. This is a safety issue, as it could cause the driver to engage the brake or gas peddle greater than anticipated due to the movement of the seat.

Basically, the driver's seat moves freely when slapping the brakes or accelerate. I also have checked the seat motor before because the seat doesn't move upwards and downwards. The technician told me that the motor works but the track of the seat needs to be fixed. I looked up to many complaints about the same problem. It seems a factory defect. Please let me know if this is a factory defect or not.

Drivers side seat leans to right.unable to raise the seat.seat bottom is resting on the track.also, seat memory position intermittently fails to return to setting.

During normal operation, the seat has failed in it's original design intent.i believe that the a failure in some component under the seat caused stress on the pivot point for up-down movement in the seat and over an extended period of time the point finally sheared.i believe the extensive stress was caused because of the automatic seat movement that occurs when the driver enters and exits the vehicle the bracket which allows the seat to move up and down with the powered control has failed on both sides of the left front bucket seat.the seat now moves freely forward and back and poses a serious safety risk to myself and anyone else who might be driving the vehicle.this puts me in a terrible position because as a concerned consumer i have to worry about the fact that an accident could be fatal due to component failures.should i move forward with getting rid of the vehicle, either by selling it to another person or trading in the vehicle, i put someone else in risk and/or will take a huge loss on the value of the vehicle because of the condition which was caused by poor design and/or quality testing.this is a serious issue and needs to be remedied by nissan usa immediately!

While driving my 2007 infiniti m35x, the driver's side seat back broke loose on the door side of the seat.afterward, it moved around and i considered it unsafe to drive, not knowing how severe the problem would become.apparently, this is a fairly common problem as i have seen multiple complaints online on both the 2007 and 2006 models of this car.it is on the customer to pay to fix this problem as the car was out of warranty coverage.the net charge to fix my problem was $1,310.05.this is a real safety issue and could have caused a calamity if the incident had occurred at speed on the highway, a real possibility as i am in sales and use the car for my job.

The two brackets that support the seat back on the drivers seat have snapped / sheared. The seat back is no longer supported and the seat base raising mechanism no longer works. The problem started on the right side and after a couple of weeks the left side failed.

Driver's seat slides forward about 1/2 inch when braking, then slides back when accelerating.just bought the car, everything else is good.never expected a chronic and dangerous seat problem like this on a high end luxury vehicle.it seems many other m35/45 owners have the same problem.it is ridiculous there is not a recall for the safety hazard.

I purchased a 2007 m35x sedan . I discovered today june 8 2013, that i have an issue with my drivers' seat. It leans inward toward the center console, and apparently this is a recurring issue with this year and model. It is a safety issue, and i am requesting feedback from nhtsa.gov on this particular problem. I would like to know if there is a recall for this year and model, or what if anything is being done to resolve the issue.

Drivers side seat and console was touching. Been that way 2 weeks. Today , it just collapsed when i sat down.was dark, couldn't tell what was going on with seat. I happened to be just getting into to car and start. If i would have been going faster, with traffic. .this could have been a wreck or something bad.when it collapsed , seat just dropped down quick! this is obviously a problem with these model of infinitis.this is a serious hazard.needs recall!

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35. The contact stated that driver side seat belt failed and the seat looked as if it were positioned incorrectly and unbalanced. When the contact attempted to adjust the seat, it failed to move without warning. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (infiniti suitland, 4800 branch ave, suitland, md, 20746) where it was diagnosed that the frame /lever failed and that the entire seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer informed the contact that there was no recall and that the replacement would be an out of pocket expense. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

When i started my car, the seat did not move, so i tried to adjust the seat with the controls on the side, it did not work for that function.as i was making a left turn the driver seat leaned to the right, as i straighten out the turn, the seat came back to normal position, with a small bump. When i got back home i looked at the left side of the seat, and saw a piece metal [ broken, jagged edge ] sticking up.

While hard braking felt the seat slide forward. Then when accelerated the seat slid back. I spoke with the dealer they know of the issue with the model but stated i have to have it repaired at my cost since the car is out of warranty.

The drivers seat base broke loose from the metal lever that adjusts the height off the floor and the seat track is resting on the floor . The seat cannot be adjusted level and the car cannot be driven with the broken seat position.dealer said repair is not covered under recall and will be owners responsibility.

Just purchased this vehicle with just under 53k mileage, 1 owner and seemed to be well kepted. Well of course after driving this 2007 m35x (w/ bose & climate control with memory control)around, i noticed to be adjusting my back & bottommore & more to get a comfortable position while driving... Well, come to find out, the entire seat (mainly it's the bottom, back right) is leaning into the center console! i can't even drive the da*m thing for more then a few minutes before my right buttcheek, sciatic nerve and lower right back start to really really hurt and ache! to the point where i don't even want to drive! also, seat moves back n forth when stopping/going! i contacted dealer where purchased (infiniti of scottsdale) & it doesn't seem like they're going to be any help unless i probably fork over 100s of my hard earned money! salesman blames it on being 9-10yr old car (i guess he doesn't believe in used vehicles but will sell them? nor believes in an infiniti product where he works!) i offered for him to drive it for 30min and see how his back and a$$ feels after! (had no reply). This is an absolute safety hazard as well as a health issue also! how can the infiniti manufacturer deny so many complaints when this seems to be a very big problem with this model!? i can't wait til i get this issie resolved/fixed because it seems to be a decent car! other than this very big issue with the most important spot in the entire car!the driver seat! it's almost unbelievable that after reading up on here that there are so many people with this problem/issue!don't be afraid, post a claim if this has happened or if you're dealing with this issue now! please! this needs to catch there attention! maybe i should send a chiropractor & surgery bill for thousands of $$ because this seat is going to cause me big back/thigh/leg problems as its already doing! will try to upload pics

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35.the contact stated thatwhile driving 30 mph, the driver side seat bracket fractured, causing the seat to move while the vehicle was in motion.the dealer advised the contact to replace the seat bottom at his expense.the manufacturer was aware of the failure but failed to offer any assistance.no repairs were performed.the current mileage was 76,924 and the failure mileage was 76,900.

The power seats lost its memory function

While driving to work and proceeding to a stop light my seat just feel on one side and took a dip. When this happened it definitely startled me. I didn't know what to do and could barely drive. I was able to safely get to my destination, which happened to be 2 minutes away at that point and look at the seat and it turned out to be nothing i can do. Now the seat lifts and drops on its own.

The driver seat rear bracket broke under normal use and has resulted in the seat not being securely attached to the frame. I was entering the parked vehicle when it broke. As a result the seat flips forward when stopping which is extremely unsafe. Judging by the hundreds (m/b thousands of complaints online) this is clearly a major manufacturing defect that nissan should repair at no cost to owners.

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the tracks on the front drivers seat broke and the seat was not stable while driving. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the contact was informed that the tracks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 72,000.

At approximately 100k miles the driver's seat broke and leans into and binds with the console. There was nothing but normal use and judging from other online complaints this is apparently a common problem. The driver's seat is no longer stable or safe because it can be easily moved around by hand. This should be a safety recall issue. This is a problem whether stationary or in motion.

The contact owns a 2007 infiniti m35. While driving 5 mph, the front driver seat fractured off the tracks. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 117,000.

My m35 (2007) driver's seat suddenly is "off track". It looks like it's still in the floor tracks, but it has moved about 3 inches to the right to the extent that it now rubs on the center console every time it moves back and forth. There is no longer a gap between the seat and the console, like there is on the passenger seat. What happened, and what do i do?it also moves from side to side and i can move the entire seat by grabbing the headrest.the seat moves when the car is in motion

A weld broke on the drivers seat base, this caused the seat to lean towards the console and as the seat was raised it got worse. Also when you grabbed the head rest and pushed it towards the front of the car the seal would then lift up. I bought a new seat base ( $ 1,000.00 + taxes ) and have replaced the base. I cannot say exactly when it happened as i left the car with my brother in-law to drive while i was on holidays and noticed the seat was sitting crooked when he picked me up from the airport. The car has 70,132 miles on it.

Driver seat collapse & dropped (pancaked) suddenly & dramatically dwhile driving.scary experience.

I was driving on freeway and drivers seat bracket broke and threw me forward and almost caused severe accident--- took to dealer who said this happens a lot in these cars and they wanted 1500$ to fix-- i cant afford-- i checked and there have been over a hundred such reports-- some involving injury-- should these seat brackets not be recalled??? only 75k on odometer

As i approached a stop light i felt the vehicle seat move forward on its own. Seems detached from seat rails

I purchased a 2007 m35x sedan in february 2014. I discovered today june 2, 2014, that i have an issue with my drivers' seat.

Steering wheel tramlnes and wanders. Unsafe lane changing. Before the car comes to a full stop, the steering wheel may come to rest at a 30 degree angle.

2007 infiniti m35x, i has a tramlining issue with the steering system.this is a severe safety issue and i'm concerned for the safety of my family. This needs to be corrected before someone is killed.

Car steering is is all pver the highway. It tends to go where it wants to go. This is my fourth car, and it's the first time that i have ever experienced this type of steering issue.

Car is susceptibleto slight changes in road surface and is very difficult to keep in lane. Tires are in good condition.

I have a 2007 infiniti m35x which has a terrible problem with the steering when i am driving over a rutted or bumpy road.the steering will pull hard to one side or the other and one time almost took me off the road. The dealer says it's the tires, which are goodyear rsa original equipment on the car.however, i have driven their other cars with the same tires without any problems at all.i've owned many cars, including infinitis, without this problem and fear this is a very dangerous car as is.

Steering locked up, all of a sudden with very limited steering capability, car could only make a 10 deg turn to either side. Sharper turns required backing up and trying again.

Vehicle suddenly pulls left and right while driving...not braking.

When driving on roads that are crowning right the steering pulls right... The same to the left. The bigger issue is that when it hits an uneven road the car seems to pull very sharply right of left, uncontrollably. Luckily enough i have enough experience to regain control and know that this does not happen with other cars i drive.

I have a 2007 infiniti m35x and have noticed a pronounced problem that i recently learned is termed "tramlining". I have noticed the problem mostly at highway speeds on the interstate. When i change lanes, as the car moves to the center of the lane that i am coming from there is a very distinct pull on the steering wheel and feel as though the car is coming out of a rut. As the car completes the maneuver to the adjacent lane it literally swerves abruptly into the rut in the new lane, which again pulls the steering wheel and is very distinct. This problem is an annoyance during dry and clear weather conditions; however, in degraded weather snow, ice, or even wet pavements it is downright scary and in my opinion presents a significant safety hazard. From what i have read this is not unique. I was researching new tires (suspecting this could be the cause, along with a good alignment). In the course of my research i found others with the same complaint. By the way, my tires are not in need of replacement as yet and the alignment was performed approximately 6 months ago. I would hope that with the problems toyota went through recently that someone looks into this problem before someone is injured or worse.

Apparently the term is called tramlining.car all of sudden wants to change lanes for no reason.i've changed tires, had an alignment, nothing works.very dangerous.

Experienced tramlining in my infiniti m35. Very weird and feel very unsafe while driving. Have to continuously make sure that the car is driving straight. Very very awful situation.

1 - problem has occurred since i purchased the car new in feb 2007.1 - when i drive on roads with truck ruts the car pulls one side or another, often forcing me into the other traffic lane (if i do not catch it soon enough).3 - no recall to fix this problem to date.i do not have an alignment problem nor a tire problem.

The steering seems to tramline. It is hard to steer straight.

This car has an undrivable issue of tramlining. It is so hard to stear when there are grooves or road imperfections...unlike any other vehicle i have ever driven. An infiniti mechanic told me the problem is a defect in design of the steering rack.i can change the struts/shocks and put new tires and that will not help...i have been told. Please fix this problem so i can safely drive my car. It is so jittery to stear, i will not let my wife drive it. Update:i spent $450 at the infiniti dealer to try and fix the steering. Reset a sensor and alignment. Nothing changed. Constant tramlining.i am told that a redesigned steering column would fix the issue. Again, this is dangerous. The car will not stay straight on a smooth straight road. Very dangerous in cornering.

Vehicle steering especially hard to control on highway/interstate.changed oem tires at 22,800 miles and helped somewhat.have 20,000 miles on new tires and problem has resurfaced.vehicle's steering wheel will abruptly jerk left or right depending on road surface and cause auto to leave the lane its traveling in.had dealership align but does not help.almost caused auto to leave interstate on 3/1/13 at 70 mph. Very serious issue; afraid to drive.

When driving on freeway the car pulls to right or left hard for no reason, this is not a out of alignment issue, car just had a 4 wheel alignment. This is very dangerous at high speeds. I think it is a steering rack issue and needs to be addressed with nissan before someone gets killed by loosing control of car.

2007 infiniti m35x abruptly pulls left and right over small and large bumps on the road.it appears that the steering rack is defective.because of this, there was a lot of going in and out of my lane numerous times; which almost caused like 3 accidents.

Car has very irregular steering especially on grooved pavement. Pulls sharply in either direction from time to time. I believe this is called tramlining. I had a 2006infiniti m35x sedan which had this problem and i now have a 2007 model of the same car and the problem is even worse. My wife refuses to drive the car thinking it is unsafe. I have new tires on the car.

Vehicle tramlines, causing the steeringto become erratic. New tires and alignment do no fix this issue. It is related to the steering component.

In november 2007 i purchased a new 2007 infiniti m35. Since that time, wheneveri drive over rough surfaces, the car jerks to the left and right, requiring a very firm grip on the steering wheel at all times.the local infiniti service consultant said this was a common problem for this type vehicle.after some research, i discovered there are other 2007 m35 owners with the same problem.they define their problem as 'tramlining' and i believe my issues are the same and this problem presents serious safety issues.please let me know if or when infiniti provides something to correct this problem.

On mildly rutted highway surfaces, such as i-5 and i405, vehicle jerks to the left and right, requiring aggressive steering wheel management to keep the car in the proper lane of travel.on heavily worn surfaces, like i-90 in spokane, the car will jerk hard enough to the left and right to swerve into the next lane on either side. Dealer says this is a common complaint on m35x (all wheel drive) only.was advised by infiniti dealer to increase tire air pressure to 37psi front and 33psi rear.this helped but not substationally this is a dangerous vehicle! no accident, yet! there needs to be a design change before i get killed of kill someone else.

2007 infiniti m35x - has a major steering problem!went to a nissan dealer had 4 wheel alignment, balanced and rotated tires, and problem still exist. Steering wheel violently slams from left to right under normal operating conditions.it's like someone else is trying to take over the steering for you.this happens at very low speeds, and on the smallest dip in the road.very different from tramlining.any slight dip in the road causes the steering wheel to slam left and right.i have a ford escort that handles the road better than this infiniti, and this is unacceptable for a luxury vehicle.please act on these complaints.most american's are not rich to just switch vehicles.

I own a 2007 infiniti m35x and it pulls or it hastramlining issues.the car pulls wildly to the right or left indiscriminate on various roads.the car feels like it is going to loose control and go into the ditch or one coming traffic!something is wrong with the tires, steering rack or both.recall is in order.

Steering and front suspension wanders suddenly and almost uncontrollably when vehicle transitions from a smooth to semi-rough road surface at 50-65 miles per hour.

Dashboard melting and cracking.

The dashboard is melting when the car is in the open on a sunny day. And there are a lot of cracks on the dashboard.

Dashboard melting i reported awhile ago but was not satisfied with outcome.

In late 2012, i noticed hairline cracks beginning to form in various areas of my vehicle's leather dashboard.in approximately may-june of 2013, i notified infiniti corporate customer service of this event.i was advised to bring the vehicle to my infiniti dealer so they could create an incident report and gather photos.then a review committee would decide whether infiniti would replace the dash or provide some compensation toward replacement. In september, 2013, i received a letter stating that since the auto was out of the new warranty period, that infiniti would not take any action, nor responsibility for this defect.since this time, the problem has further deteriorated and i have read of numerous other consumer complaints.contrary to the reasoning for disallowing a remedy for the dash, in 2013 also, i received an unsolicited letter extending the vehicle warranty for potential peeling or cracking in the wood door trim of my vehicle.

Lift struts/cylinders for hood gave way and hood came down on person working on car. Lifted back up, put down and opened again and noticed that the hood would not stay open.this car does not provide a "stick" option to hold the hood.. Only the lift struts/cylinders hold the hood open and they are not working.

2007 infiniti m35. ~71,000 miles. Dashboard texture is changing. Light reflects differently from one section to another and feels sticky, like it is melting, and now isshowing cracks.

This car has always been garaged and professionally detailed...i notified infiniti about my dashboard cracking in several places and got nowhere about 2 years ago. Now, many more cracks have occurred and the dashboard now is also softening to the point that i get glare in my windshield and the dash is so soft that it is very tacky and if accidentally is hit with a fingernail, the surface comes right offlike putty.

I have a 2007 infiniti m35x and i would like to report that this car has a serious tramlining problem. The car will suddenly veer into the next lane. This can has the potential to be be very dangerous and based on many forums many users are experiencing the samething. Please help and make infiniti fix the problem before someone dies.

Tire cannot maintain pressure. The tire is seemingly without leaks so the problem must be in the rim or the stem. Air needs to be added every week. Potential underinflation issues persist. Dealer refuses to consider the issue.infiniti m35x - model year 2007.

Multiple stress cracks in the dashboard.this was similar to what caused toyota to recall their cars.this car has always been garaged and well cared for.i noticed this around october 2015.they may have been there but just not as noticeable before then.there are more cracks than what the picture shows some larger some smaller.

My drive shaft broke while i was on the highway driving at 65mph. The drive shaft then bang a massive dent in the engine. 1200$ i was lucky enough to be alive to report this

The dash iscracking in multiple places and is sticky to the touch.infiniti has not changed the air bag yet and has told me when they do the dash will probably be in worse shape. The car is kept in a garage at home and a sun shield is put in the window when it is outside.the car has been well maintained and infiniti does not see this as a problem with the m35.

I have a 2007 infiniti m35s that has been garaged kept since purchase. My dashboard has started to crack and exude a shiny, sticky, messy substance. I do not know whether this substance is toxic to the touch or my respiratory system. I have never used any type of cleaner or solvents on my dashboard, only a microfiber towel and water. I'm not sure how to answer how my safety or the safety of others is at risk since i don't know what the particular substance is. Secondly does the fragile state of the dashboard put me and my passengers at greater risk of injury with the discharge of an airbag. I have read several complaints where other infiniti owners are experiencingthe same issue with infiniti vehicles circa 2006 - 2008. Infiniti should do the right thing and fix this problem!!

Dash has cracked in numerous places. The car is garage kept and i clean the dash with a lightly damp rag, no products. It began to feel sticky/tacky before it cracked. Infiniti is doing nothing to resolve this.

On 7/13/21 afternoon, i parked my car in a parking garage of purdue university, located in west lafayette, in.around 6 pm, as i was backing out of my parking spot on reverse gear and turning the steering wheel, the car seemed sluggish.so, i pressed the accelerator -- lightly, i believe .all of a sudden, the car just took off, moving backward very fast in a semicircle. It first hit the back of a parked car with its front right side and then a concrete wall with its back with tremendous force.i was alone in the car. I called my wife.she came from our home and called 911.the university police and medic arrived promptly, as did two of our friends.one friend drove my wife and me to iu health hospital emergency in lafayette, in, and the other friend waited at the accident spot for aaa to come.apparently, aaa came a little later and towed the car to nissan of lafayette body shop.based on the x-rays and ct scans done at the emergency, the attending physician's assistant told me -- apparently, after consulting with a neurosurgeon -- that i suffered two fractures in a neck bone ("transverse process of cervical vertebra").she gave me a hard collar and asked me to wear it 24 hours a day, expect when taking a shower, for 6 to 8 weeks.she also asked me to see a neurosurgeon, whom i will see on 7/26/21. The body shop person i spoke with next day told me that the car would likely be totaled (the car is still there). Since then, i have been thinking why the car moved so fast and also searching the web to find out any reason for it.could it be an instance of the "sudden acceleration" problem?i must say that i have been driving infiniti cars for many years.i have been very pleased with them so far, as well as the service provided by infiniti dealers, especially my current one, dreyer & reinbold infiniti of indianapolis. I have decided to inform nhtsa of this accident so that no other person driving an infiniti car meets with an accident like this.

I have noticed my dash is melting terribly bad its now has soft spots and is now super sticky from melting and cracking and chiping off in some areas where it has melted and then cracked as it hardened back. If i try to clean it with cleaner made for dashes the color just smears and the dash material its self smears and any kind of car cloth just leaves patches of stuff from the dash being sticky and melted. This has been a common problem i am finding all over the web. Why are our dashes not being fixed? this can cause major issues if i was to get into a wreck and the dash just crumbles or squishes because its melted.

Lift struts/cylinders for hood gave way and hood came down on person working on car. Lifted back up, put down and opened again and noticed that the hood would not stay open.this car does not provide a "stick" option to hold the hood.. Only the lift struts/cylinders hold the hood open and they are not working.

Dash board starts to get very sticky and is peeling off

I am getting a code of p1772 low coast solenoid valve within the transmit ion. When this does this the engine will not shift into gear when vehicle is on the road, and will just coast and we have no control of the vehicle. Nissan knows about it and has it procedure to diagnose it. Vehicle is in motion at the time. Faulty censor within the valve body. Infinity part number: 3175017x4e

During the town driving car lost complete power. All the light on dash board including "mil" light came on. As a result i had to get emergency repairs costing $ 600. I also took car to dealership where to reprogram throttle position sensor cost me over $120.00. Two weeks later i get notice from infinity that this a known issue and they will come up with solution for this problem. To this date i have not heard anything for either reimbursement or a fix..

I have a very sticky and melting dashboard that is affecting the visibility and glare while driving.

Tire cannot maintain pressure. The tire is seemingly without leaks so the problem must be in the rim or the stem. Air needs to be added every week. Potential underinflation issues persist. Dealer refuses to consider the issue.infiniti m35x - model year 2007.
