Consumer was traveling onhighway andnoticed ondashboardairbag light was blinking off and on.she looked at her manual. Manualtold her to contact herlocal dealership.she did, andmechanic told her it would cost $1200.00.
The contact owns a 1992 infiniti m30.the contact purchased the vehicle six months ago and is beginning to experience the same failures as mentioned in nhtsa campaign id number 95i006000 (fuel system, gasoline:fuel injection system).the manufacturer looked up his vin and stated that his vehicle no longer qualified for the recall unless they decided to withdraw the recall because it is voluntary.the contact then faxed the information to the infiniti dealer and they stated that the recall repair had never been performed and the campaign was still open.they further stated that he could have the recall repair performed because his vin was included among the defective vehicles.the regional manager from the chicago, il office stated that there were no open recalls based on his vehicle.the dealer stated that the recall was still open until further notice by the manufacturer.the failure mileage was 113,000 and current mileage was 116,000.
The vehicle experienced the same problem as stated in recall#95i00600 -fuel injection, however the vehicle identification number was not included in the recall.
Anti lock brake pump failed.
Vehicles covertiable top window has a build of scratches from normal usage of closing and opening.tt
