Violent deployment of air bag during collision resulting in permanent eye damage.
Two (2) engine mountscracked and needed to be replaced.
Motor mounts that fail at under 60,000 miles are definitely a hazard, and manufacturer refuses to replace underwarranty.
While driving smelled gas.mechanic checked, but could not find anything. Consumer felt this made itunsafe to drive.
Received recall notice (#97v072000). Called dealer to make appointment. Was told could not get an appointment due to contract indicating getting aloaner vehicle while owner's vehicl is being repaired.

When my daughter went to buckle her seatbelt in the back seat of my car, the buckle wouldn't latch.i tried it, too--the metal piece slid into the other part without latching.then it'd latch; next try it wouldn't.i couldn't trust the seatbelt, so we couldn't let the children ride in that car any longer.thankfully the seatbelt failed when we were buckling the child in the car in the driveway heading out--and not during an accident, or on the way home.i'm mad that the seatbelt could fail without warning like that.how can i trust that the seatbelt will work properly when it's needed???!! i called the manufacturer and they confirmed a lifetime warranty on the seatbelt.11/26 i took the car to the dealer and they replaced the seatbelt mechanism under warranty and checked the function of the other seatbelts.i'm satisfied that they've fixed it... But still concerned if the other seatbelts will fail without my knowing, and concerned about all the other cars of my make/model out there, whose seatbelts may have failed and parents don't yet know it.
Brakes make squeaky sound from the time the vehicle was taken.vehicle been in /out of dealer shop four times. Dealer informed consumer that the squeaky sound from the brakes was normal.
Brake pedal compresses when vehicle makes above noise.
