3 of my vehicles doors do not unlock or lock using the key fob or the unlock/lock button on the door. This can be dangerous if you need to lock or unlock the doors in a hurry. It is a known issue in many infiniti fx35/45 of this generation.

Driver side seat track loose and moves when braking or accelerating. Very unstable and has a hard click. Back door cannot be locked via the buttons and must be locked then unlocked manually.

The drivers side seat will no longer move back/forward.the right side of the seat remains stationary and the left side moves making the seat swivel.the mechanic checked it out and determined that the gear was stripped.

The brightness/intensity of the led brake lights (and turn signals) on new infinity l45 vehicles is extremely high and is nearly blinding when following behind in another vehicle.they must be out of specification range.

Normal use of power door locks later the function becomes unreliable. Cannot effectively lock or unlock doors. Had one door lock repaired and immediately after that another lock has malfunctioned.

The lock actuator on the rear hatch broke and i was unable to close the hatch or lock the vehicle.after dissembling the actuator there was a small plastic pin that broke that prevented the latch from engaging. I then had to pay over $400.00 to have it replaced for a plastic piece that probably cost less than $1 to manufacture.

Front passenger door lock and rear driver's side door lock do not close and / or open when either door lock switch in car is pressed or door lock on remote is pressed.am told it can be an actuator.called the dealer to get repaired and told it is not a recall and want to charge hundreds of dollars, yet just from using search engine online there are hundreds of other customers experiencing the same issues on nissan maximas, altimas, muranos, infinity fx45, fx35, amongst many other "nissan" vehicles.

The door lock on the passenger front door no longer works via the power door lock switch or key fob.it must locked/unlocked manually.the mechanic reported that the lock actuator needed to be replaced.

2004 infiniti fx45 - door power lock (actuator) not working correctly.this failure is an intermittent of operation. Sometimes the doors lock ok, other times they don't.in addition, sometimes the doors unlock ok, other times they don't.it is possibly a safety issue. The door lock is most "lazy" and the problem worsens in hot weather.quick search online reveals that this is vastly common problem in infiniti/nissan cars.1. Having a secure environment is paramount in certain neighborhoods. When locking the doors it's imperative nobody can gain access at will by walking up to the car. If anyone can simply open the door to gain access, carjacking, injury, or even murder is easier. If the doors locked properly this provides a more secure environment for this type of scenario. 2. Nissan knowing there is a security problem with their locking mechanism and not recalling them for safety concern is negligent. In this case there's no obvious indication the door isn't locked unless someone walks up and opens it from the outside. The driver "thinks" the door is locked, when in reality it's an "open door" for carjacking or robbery.this failure is an intermittent of operation. Sometimes the doors lock ok, other times they don't. In addition, sometimes the doors unlock ok, other times they don't. 3. In emergencies it's important to be able to unlock doors quickly. Since 99% of the time we all use the button to lock and unlock doors, using the manual locking lever is unfamiliar.in emergencies every second counts. The locking/unlocking solenoid malfunctioning is clearly a high risk in emergency scenarios. Some people who cannot afford the $1600 to have all the locks replaced (as quoted by dealers) will forgo getting them fixed, putting their family members at risk with the above mishap examples. This shouldn't be, nissan should recall them.

Right side back passenger seat belt does work. Cannot use.

Driver side seat track loose and moves when braking or accelerating. Very unstable and has a hard click. Back door cannot be locked via the buttons and must be locked then unlocked manually.

Multiple brake issues, causing a safety issue.

The contact owns a 2004 infiniti fx45. The contact stated that the dashboard was beginning to form bubbles the size of door knobs. The failure produced a glare from the bubbles, which made it difficult to see out of the front windshield. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall on the failure; however, the warranty was extended an additional four years around 2006. The contact was also informed that due to the vehicle not being brought in around the time of the warranty extension, they were no longer obligated to provide the repair free of charge. The vehicle had not been repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.
