1. The horn won't work when you push the horn 3 to 4 times it keeps blowingthe fuse 15a . I replace the relay switch and it still blows the 15a guess.2. I. Started up my car drove through my neighborhood about 10 miles per hour and the airbag light came on for no reason on the dashboard and won't cut off. I had 1 passenger in the front seat, when this happen and it still tays on even when by myself,

Around sept. 2017, while in motion on city street. Vehicle's 2 warning lights turned on, 1st was check engine, then not long after that oil warning lights. Luckily i wasn't to far from home that the vehicle didn't stop running and made it home. So when i got home i told my husband about it. Before checking engine compartment he noticed oil dripping and coolant dripping under the car down to the ground. And it was a lot of spillage that it empty both oil and coolant from car. He opened hood engine compartment to check the level of oil and find's it was low of oil. At the same time he noticed oil leakage coming from the valve cover section, leaking down to alternator and covered with oil. After that he visually checked the radiator and there was no coolant, it was empty. So since then i never ran the car or was out of service. I was too busy back then and no money to get it fix. Luckily i have another car to get around with. So just recently, a friend mentioned to go online and checked to see if any recall for this vehicle's problem or make a complain. Hopefully it's a manufacture's problem and will like a respond, so i can get this car rolling again.

Passenger mirror burned. Brought to hyndai, they didnt know what caused it nor can give an answer to.cant see to pass and get over. Door lock failure on drivers door and key lockong. Will unlock doors but will not lock. Car has been in shop 10 days. Multable dontknow answer

Driving on interstate 1-285 taking exit 7 to walmart when all dash board lights such as battery light, abs, cruise, starting flickering and suddenly car just shut off while in motion. While car shut off it was still rolling and car would not shift in park, brakes and steering wheel locked, and key would not release from ignition. If i hadn't told my cousin to jump out, my family and i would have crashed in the back of a parked car at walmart.the consumer stated both brake lights as well as the headlights had to be replaced twice. Updated 12/02/14

Pulled into parking place and went to place veracruz from drive to park and it jumped forward a little and gear shift was locked the esc light did come on showing "off". I would not allow me to shift into park and brake pedal was locked. I was only able to put into neutral and turn veracruz off and apply emergency parking brake. Doors will open but will not turn engine over. Lights flash as if but will not start. There is no dashboard lights to indicate anything wrong, the esc light went away. I was pulling into parking spot and not driving down the road. My vin is not in recall but should be looked into.

I have received three recall letters form hyundai veracruz regarding an interim recall in january 2021, march 2021 and may 2021.i had the vehicle in for mechanical repairs to the rear brake system in late february 2021 and was informed there was several leaks noted at the time.within the next few weeks, i noted that when accelerating onto the highway that the battery light, security light and seatbelt light would flash for about 10 seconds but then go off..i waited to hear on a repair solution from hyundai but only received another interim letter in march.in the end of april, i had spoken to the dealership where i purchased the vehicle ,auto warehouse of brighton, and was told hyundai would have to repair due to the recall.i have contacted three hyundai service centers and have been told that they are unable to repair under the recall as there has not been a remedy for the recall.on sunday, may 30, the vehicle was making an odd noise and i asked a mechanic friend to look at it.while inspecting, he stated the bearings in the alternator seized.the vehicle is now not functional, hyundai customer care cannot provide a possible date for the recall to be remedied.this recall has been going on now since november 2020 and is unresolved.i am without a vehicle due to this and have not been provided any possible timeline when the issue may be resolved.

The contact owns a 2009 hyundai veracruz. The contact stated that while at a stop, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to restart. The failure recurred on multiple occasions.the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the alternator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000. The vin was not available.

The abs light, esc light, traction control light and awd light all illuminated. The dealership tried twice to diagnose the problem, but could not locate any codes for it. The third time the issue arose, the dealer decided that there is an issue with the abs sensor. The vehicle is a 2008 veracruz purchased in may 2009. I was told that the vehicle was just past the warranty period and that hyundai would not cover this item. It appears that this is becoming a common problem with this vehicle, as there have been at least 15 complaints on the nhtsa site and many more listed in the hyundai forums online. Please investigate this issue and see if a recall is warranted. Thank you.

Abs and esc lights are on.was told it was a abs sensor/hydraulic issue.the part is $2500 the dealer says.i found several other complains online about 2008 veracruz having this issue.the car only has 50,000 miles on it.

The contact owns a 2009 hyundai veracruz. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph, the headlights started to dim as the vehicle began to stall without warning. The contact was able to coast the vehicle into a service center however, the mechanic was unable to diagnose the failure. The contact then had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with a defective alternator due to oil leakage from the engine. The contact then received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 20v705000 (engine and engine cooling) which she linked to the failure. Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer were notified of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 189,000.

The contact called liberty hyundai (305 nj-17, mahwah, nj 07430, (201)529-2400) where it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.

Check engine light and p2135 code. 2nd occurrence. Car enters limp home mode. Occurred while driving on a highway.

The fuel gauge when filling the vehicle only goes to half a tank and then goes down from there. It never goes to the full point.

While driving, it felt like a jerk or shift in the engine two times and then the accelerator stopped working.i coasted into a parking lot and called a tow truck. Not five minutes earlier i had been driving 65 miles an hour on interstate 35 - an extremely busy and fast-moving highway.if the problem had happened then, i have no doubt that a terrible accident would have been the result.the service representative at the hyundai dealership said it was probably the throttle position sensor and that this was a "common problem."the sensor is being replaced as i type.i looked online on edmunds car space and found several other hyundai owners complaining of the same problem as far back as 2007 (probably even before).this is a life endangering problem that hyundai is apparently ignoring until owners bring in their vehicles.

While driving at 70 the car jerked, completely stopped accelerating. There was no response when pressing the gas pedal. Luckily we were near an exit, we were not rear ended by a truck and were able shift lanes and to roll off and put our hazard lights on.after checking the engine, a local service mechanic was able to determine there was an error code related to the throttle control. On restarting the car the engine lights reset and the car ran normally. Returning home we brought the car back to hyundai. We were told there was nothing they could do as there were no error codes in memory even though there was a technical service bulletin regarding the throttle sensor. I was told that they would not do anything until an error was recorded in the memory of the computer because hyundai usa would not cover anything under warranty. When i asked if it was likely to occur again, i was told it most likely would happen soon and too be careful. A month later it happened again traveling at about 65 mile per hour. This time there was no shoulder but i was able to partially pull off the road and put on my hazard lights as cars drove by and avoided hitting mine. This same situation occurred four (4) more times as i was able to get my car finally back home to the hyundai dealer to service the car. The hyundai dealer replaced both the throttle sensor and the pedal assembly. Having researched the problem with acceleration, i have learned that many others have experienced this similar and potentially dangerous problem. After speaking with other hyundai service technicians i was told off the record that this was not an uncommon problem. As the throttle position sensor is less than $29 i am not sure why hyundai did not address this problem when i first brought the car or as a recall as the consequences could be much more serious.

Rear hubs and bearings were replaced at 36,300 under warranty and at 45,493 and repair is now required again 67,000.if not repaired, wheels can seize. Frequency of this repair would indicate faulty engineering and a safety hazard.

Tire valve w/tmps fails. This is a simple and very standard but critical component to maintaining tire air pressure. The valve broke off in the simple act of removing the cap to add air. Break was the end of thevalve stem and prevent airing the tire.the hyundai dealership service department inspected all wheels and found two more caps which they refused to try to loosen since they were out of valves to replace.this service department seemed to recognize their effort would likely have same result. They seemed to know this is a problem.a quick internet search shows this to be a common experience.the ability to pressurize the tire is a routine maintenance task which must have robusttire valve, since tire pressure is critical safety requirement.the typical user is very use to removing a tire valve cap and not have a problem. The valve design being used by hyundai appears to be common design for many models/years.this is a very serious problem with a design for a critical safety component.this needs to be investigated and immediate corrective action taken.
