Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 hyundai genesis coupe. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated without warning. The vehicle dealer diagnosed that the ocs connector prematurely failed and fractured. The dealer replaced the part. Months later, the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v722000 (air bags). The failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.
I was driving and my headlights stopped working, sooner i came to realize the horn doesn't either. I diagnosed the relay to be okay.

While driving on the streets my car started feeling different it would jump gears and get stuck.i will come to stop or signal lights or pull over to the side on busy streets and freeways.shut off my vehicle than restart it again.sometimes it would help and most of the time it wouldn't.i had a fire last year a small box under my hood had caught on fire i reported it to my insurance. Electric box that got on fire. While i was driving my passenger tire came off i had went through 3 tires in one day the bolts keep getting lose.i just recently purchased a new transmission and now my mechanic told me my engine is no good .what do i do i purchase this used vehicle march 23 2019. And just started having problems all since april 2020

I recently had taken my vehicle to get serviced for an oil change. 2 weeks later i'm driving and my oil warning light comes on and then my steering wheel locks up and the engine just goes out. I have never had any mechanical problems with this vehicle.

As im coming to a complete stop at a stop sign i accelerate onto a busy highway and the transmission acted as though it did not want to engage and the motor reved up and caused my vehicle to fish tail. My daughter and i were in the vehicle.

Rear passenger side brake seizure or sticking. Happened when i went to a colder location. I took the car to the dealer and they lubed the guides, 2 months later, back in a cold area, the exact same thing happened again. The car doesn't roll in neutral and the brakes heat up, excessive wear on the pads on that brake.
Brake pedal goes all the way down when braking. Master cylinder failure. Mileage on vehicle 33,678.
The contact owns a 2013 hyundai genesis coupe. While driving, the brakes malfunctioned at random. The contact had to depress the brake pedal to the floorboard to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who recommended that the brake boosters needed to be replaced. The mechanic called the manufacturer and was informed that there was a shortage of parts, which would not be available until january of 2020. Future hyundai of concord (1051 burnett ave, concord, ca 94520, (866) 979-7218) stated that diagnostic testing was needed at the contact's expense. Through online research, the contact believed that the hydraulic electronic control unit may have caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 109,008. *ln*dt
The vehicle has an issue with an inconsistent brake pattern. When the brake peddle is depressed it sometimes will go all the way to the floor and require the operator to "pump the brakes" in order to regain the braking ability. The brake peddle does not require this all the time. I will be having the vehicle looked at by a technician to verify that there is corrosion in the brake fluid reservoir as it appears to myself to be contaminated. The vehicle speed had no correlation to when brakes began to fail and required pumping the peddle in order to regain braking power.
While driving when i go to stop or slow down the brake pedal goes to the floor.it's real hard to stop the car,i brought it to the dealer and i was told that it's the hecu a 3,000 $fix. I know that other genesis owners have complained of the same problem.it's very dangerous for me and other vehicles around me. I know that hyundai has recalled other vehicles for this problem due to faulty brake fluid that distroys thehecu. It sure seems to be what happened to mine.
Genesis coupe has been to the mechanic three times for brake failure. The rotors, pads, and calipers were replaced the first time and the brakes still didnt work. The second and third time the brake lines were bled, and the brakes still failed. The brake pedal loses pressure and pushes all the way down to the ground while driving causing inability to brake the car. Mechanic says the problem may be hecuas with the prior recall for genesis sedans. There are no other bases for the failure that he can find.
Brakes failed,brake pedal goes to the floor. Its very difficult to stop the vehicle and sometimes i end up not being able to stop and have to go through the red light or into the ditch. The dealership looked at the car and said that it is the hecu. I have seen numerous realls for hyundai vehicles for the hecu including the 2011 ,2012 genesis. And now more hyundais are being recalledthis car needs to be recalled !

The vehicle was taken to honda morristown (4190 w andrew johnson hwy, morristown, tn 37814) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated that the dealer completed a safety inspection on the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure persisted on a daily basis. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 112,000.

Most times my car will start when i press the "engine start stop" button my foot is on the brake. Most times it will shut down when the button is pressed. Sometimes it will not. I never know when and if i will have this problem. I took the car to the hyundai dealer in toms river, nj. They said it was a faulty start-stop button. I paid them to diagnose the problem. They charged me a diagnostic fee and for a new start-stop button. I drove the car home thinking my problem was solved. The problem was eliminated for two days only to return again. When i advised them of this, i received no assistance. I can not return to this dealer. I simply don't trust them.

I was driving down the highway when suddenly the sunroof of my vehicle shattered. Glass flew down the back of the car scratching the back windshield and trunk. The weather was approximately 72 degrees fahrenheit outside with the ac set to 70. The sunshade was closed. Based on the fracturing of the glass, it seemed as if the cause of the sunroof breaking came from inside the car. The glass was bowed upward and outward from the vehicle. Upon review of dash cam footage, there was no indication of any outward or exterior source that would have caused the glass to break.
