Ref #827854,(9/98), & #716405 ( 12/99).today i read in m/c mag izine about same fail. By other owners. Rider magizine dec. 2000 issue page 68 " honda seals". Thisis anelection year , does some have to get killedbefore you take action? .or has somebody already been injured ! thank your a murray.
Engine crankcase seal failed resulting in leaking of oil.
Slave cylinder weep holes allow for oil to leak on rear tire when failure occurs.
The motorcycyle leaks oil due to a broken sealant in the clutch assembly which may cause a fire.consumer states taht the oil leaked on the left rear side, on the driveshaft housing, and on the tire.
