On seven separate occasions, the engine on my motorcycle has died when changing gears. This has happened at varios speeds and engine operating temparatures. This has almost caused me to lose control of the motorcycle. Honda has been contacted and say they cannot replicate the problem. I have the contact information of 5 or more others who has reported the same problem on the same motorcycle.ak
The contact owns a 2014 (na) honda valkyrie. The contact stated that the crash bar was loose on the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the subframe was corroded and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and informed the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer to be diagnosed. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000. The vin was unavailable.
