My honda prelude was rear ended by a raised 4 wheel drive chevy truck. I wasat a complete stop and the chevy rear ended me going about 45 mph. The impact was so intense i lost grip of the steering wheel and my head jerked forward hitting the steering wheel. The airbag never inflated, despite the high impact hit,or my head hitting the steering wheel. As a result i am now suffering from neck and upper body injuries. Due tothe extent of the damage the car was taken to the salvage yard.
Our honda prelude was rear ended sending it into another car. The air bags did not inflate.
Vehicle overheated, consumer was informed that the head had cracked between 2 head bolts and the crack had opened up a passageway between the oil and water passages, causing a mix of oil and water, at this time the consumer became aware of a recall regarding the balancer shaft retainer and feels that this faulty part was the reason for the vehicle overheating, consumer is requesting partial reimbursement, when vehicle was repaired a defective cylinder head assembly was installed, this part lacks the passageway for the proper functioning of the exhaust gas recycling system and caused vehicle to fail the smog check, consumer is also requesting reimbursement for this faulty part and repairs caused by the part.

The contact owns a 1995 honda prelude. The contact stated that the driver side door latch became inoperable and prevented the door from opening or closing. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The mechanic stated that the latch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.

New tires purchased in 2018 do not have standard dot code for date of manufacture. The code is printed on the ire as" cch7..k1710u-1. The tires are yokohama s drive. 205/55-r15. No one seems able to tell me the manufacture date. The tires are visually ok and have 4500 miles on them, but i am concerned as to how old they may be, and should the retailer be aware of the dot code? can you de-code the manufacture date?
