Inquiry regarding honda pilot air bag system.*mr the consumer's co-worker plugged her lap top into the cigarette lighter and the air bag light illuminated. After taking the vehicle to the mechanic twice, she learned that plugging peripheral devices into the light could deactivate the air bag. This information wasn't in her owner's manual. Consumer inquired as to whether or not this is a safety defect or a commonoccurrence.*ph

The contact owns a 2007 honda pilot.while driving between 40-55 mph, the vehicle began to sway back and forth until the driver side crashed into a metal divider.the impact pushed the vehicle to the other side of the road, where it crashed head on into a tree.the road conditions were dry.the driver was wearing a seat belt, but suffered head injuries.the children seated in the rear sustained bruises from the seat belt.the vehicle was towed and the cause of failure was unknown.the current and failure mileages were 36.
