Takata recall.this complaint does not involve an accident, but has to do with the prolonged period of time for repair of the issue for which i received a recall notice.the date on the notice is march 2016, and it promises the parts will be available in summer 2016.tomorrow is september, which is not my idea of summer.i am taking my car into a honda dealer for regular service this week, and i could have had the parts replaced had they been available, but they are not.

Takata recallmy insight was on the recall list early in 2016. Letter that came in march said part would be available in mid-summer. I'd called dealer with similar results. Way over 60 days since the vin was posted online. I try to drive it as little as possible while waiting. Sad, for some tragic, situation. Not happy at all.

Takata airbag...got my recall notice in april and still haven't been able to get this fixed.calls to dealer and honda corporate yield no results.2012

Takata recall:called my honda dealer (brilliant honda of crystal lake, il) on april 8 after receiving letter from honda corp.it has been more than 3 months & i still have not been called for my replacement.i live an hour away from closest honda dealer & asked them for a "loaner car" which they do not have. I no longer feel comfortable driving more than 30 mins from my home, or taking passengers in my car.can you help me?

I was driving in a line of slow moving traffic on a two line lane main street keepinga constant speed of 22 mph when suddenly my car lurched forward accelerating rapidly making a high pitched screaming sound. As the car gained speed i swerved into the other lane to avoid crashing into the car in front of me. Meanwhile i stomped on the foot brakes, pulled on the emergency brake and shifted into park trying to stop the car. Barely missing a head on collusion, the car jumped over the sidewalk, took down a steel sign, scraped over concrete barriers as it continued now at a speed of approximately 55 mph. It stopped only after i crashed it into the front window of a cafe. I'm concerned that this hybrid has a serious defect causing it to suddenly accelerate.

Since november 2015, i've had to add one quart 0w-20 full synthetic oil to maintain its oil level. I'd driven about 875 miles per week at that point. The problem progressed and the vehicle had problems accelerating and would stall out on occasion. I had a very scary experience where the car stalled out in to oncoming traffic while trying to pull out on to the road, making a left hand turn on to a mountain highway. The fuel economy sharply declined since then. The spark plugs failed prematurely, and now the long block needs to be replaced after giving out for the final time in june 2016. The repair is $9,700 for a vehicle i still owe $9,000 on. Honda needs to stand by its product and make it safe for its consumers to drive. They have been completely negligent in this matter, issuing settlements and extended warranties to only the v6 engines with the same problem and select v4 engines on a case by case basis, preference going to people who are the original owners, did all servicing exclusively at honda-certified dealerships, and who are barely outside the warranty. A vehicle of this caliber should last more than 85k miles or so. The problems started around 68k miles, but the powertrain warranty only covers up to 60k miles.

I havea 2012 honda insight.on 12/23/18 i was driving on the highway and the power cut out.this is the 3rd incident in a one year and half where the spark plugs have blown cutting the power to the car. Mechanic told me it would be $1700.i couldn't get it fixed i was getting on a plane 3 days later for three weeks.evidentally it has to something with the excess burning of oil getting to the spark plugs.i've found where others have this problem also.its quite expensive to fix.this has to be a manufacturer problem.now i'm without a car again.at this time i am walking with a walker and no car. This keeps happening! what is going on.

Tthis car has safety problems burns oil like crazy , my daughter was driving down 81 when the dash lights came on the car was shaking so she pulled over and called the police who impounded the car 300 to get it out then we had it towed over 100miles . Honda dealer says the spark plug failed and went into the engine . Getting prices on a new engine .

The contact owns a 2012 honda insight. The contact called on behalf of the driver. While driving 65 mph, the vehicle stalled and all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was able to be coasted to the side of the road. The driver attempted to restart the vehicle, but it failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the driver's residence. The vehicle was later taken to priority honda hampton (located at 4115 w mercury blvd, hampton, va 23666, (757) 838-1252) where it was diagnosed that the piston three in cylinder three, valve, and engine head needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 113,000.

In october 2016, i took my vehicle to scott robinson honda in torrance due to a check oil light that came on the day before.after a day of diagnosis, honda determined the engine on my insight was burning oil too rapidly, and that the problem had been occurring for quite some time. Although this oil consumption problem is a well-known fault to the first generation of my vehicle and had been persistent since my initial purchase, scott robinson honda in torrance and american honda motor co has refused to cover the cost of repair because my vehicle had just exceeded the 60,000 mile warranty limit, just a few months before. With a little research, i came across soto, et al v. American honda motor co, inc, case no. 3:12-cv-1377-si (us district court, northern district california). The class-action lawsuit states: 'a systematic design defect that enables oil to enter into the engine's combustion chamber. This leads to premature spark plug degradation and engine malfunction.' in the case, it was revealed honda acknowledged the problem in the july 2011 technical service bulletin #11-033 stating that 'the vcm (variable cylinder management) may be repeatedly switching on and off during light throttle operation, at cruising speeds, on flat roads.' in english? the engine is working much harder than it has to in normal driving conditions.honda's conduct clearly demonstrates a company incapable of honest business practice in the state of california. Consumers should not have to search through a decade of legal documentation in order to make a knowledgeable car purchase. It's apparent that honda knew of this problem well before my vehicle was produced, as was acknowledged in honda's internal emails, and is using well written legal maneuvers to exploit consumers in the state of california.

I purchased my car in july 2015 from a used car dealership.it had approximately 64k miles on it.a month later my check emissions light came on while driving in a residential area.the car had received a complete oil change the day i purchased it but i took it to a local service shop where they informed me my car was low on oil.a month later the check emissions light came on again. It was a quart low.i added a quart (not cheap for hybrids as honda recommends api premium grade 0w-20 detergent oil only).another month passes and the check emissions light comes on again after i just turned the ignition on. Also i had started experiencing the engine stalling. Example, going from breaking to accelerating it simply stalls. Takes about 30seconds before acceleration begins to engage. In december, as i drove up a hill the car started stuttering.at the top of the hill my speed dropped to 16 mph and wouldn't go any faster.i pulled over, turned off the engine, waited a few minutes then started it again.i stepped on the accelerator and it crawled to 11 mph. The car was towed to the nearest honda dealership where the service department informed me i needed spark plugs.that was 12/18/2015.mileage was at around 66k.a week later they said the oil was leaking into the cylinders and they needed to check with honda to see what repairs they were willing to cover.estimated parts/labor=$8000.it's not on the recall list but should be, as there are so many complaints. Honda is not willing to give a loaner vehicle during this whole ordeal.my service advisor informed me i could pick up my personal belongings from my car as it didn't appear i would be getting it back anytime soon!i loved my car and the honda brand but this has turned me completely off. Today is 1/11/2016 and still no word from honda about my car or the responsibility they are going to take.

Excessive oil consumption at 70000. Adding more than a quart of oil every 1000 miles.

I bought my insight new in 2012.i now have 74k miles.at approximately 55k miles my insight began to have an "emissions" error code.after some inspection it was found that the oil was low (2-3 quarts).this has occurred since that time every 5-6 weeks, according to how much i drive the car.the "emissions" error illuminates, i check the oil and it is low.it just happened again last month.i have had the car serviced religiously at the dealership from the time of purchase and have not missed an oil change, tire rotation, etc.

The spark plugs failed during driving on the highway resulting in a dangerous situation.i later learned that the spark plugs failed because 2 of the cylinders were burning excessive oil.honda has recalled this car due to excessive oil consumption but has refused to reimbursement me after i had the car repaired.

My honda insight 2012 is burning oil. After an oil change i drive around 3500 mile and the red engine oil warning light comes on. First time it happened i took the car ,like 3-4 years ago, to the dealer. They replaced the piston rings under warranty but it did not solve the problem. I am dealing with this problem for the last around 3-4 years. It always happens after around 3500 mile, i get the red light. I take it to dealer and dealer starts oil consumption test and tells me nothing is wrong. They did oil consumption test 4 or 5 times already. One time they told methat they had to add 3.5 quart oil and the engine block needs to be replaced since piston rings are already replaced. I was inexperienced to not get a written document stating they added 3.5 quart oil. Then they told me that they will contact honda about it. A few days later they called me and said honda thinks it is normal. Recently due to job change i drive very little that is why it takes time for me to regenerate the problem but i know it happens. It happened like 5 times so far. The extended warranty will end in 2020. I have like a year to demonstrate it. Some people had power loss issues on freeway. I did not have that so far because i do not take long freeway rides when i reach to 2k mile after last oil change. We use my wife's car if i have to take freeway.

Car quite running on busy interstate i managed to get off nearest exit almost got hit by several vehicles.had to have towed to auto shop that had replaced 8 spark plugs 8 monthes earlier. Automotive shop replaced plugs 8 plugs said they where under warranty but found no compression in cylinders.

Excessive oil consumption. I am adding 1 quart every 1000 miles since i got the car at 65000 miles.

Excessive oil consumption.car uses approx. 1.2 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles.problems with acceleration and rough idle.

Car has 95,000 miles. High oil consumption. All 8 spark plugs have to be changed every 3-4000 miles. Very expensive. The problem is the spark plugs get fouled, and burnt up, so there is no electrode left. When that happens the car immediately slows down to 5 mph. I almost got killed and run over by a tractor trailer last sat. 10/29/16 on interstate 81 south by new milford, pa. He was right on my back. I could only see his grill. The car will stay in that mode, "limp mode" until repaired. This has happened 3 times to me in the past 2 years. Now cylinder 4 is blown. This is a fairly newer car and honda refuses to repair it for free or issue a recall. Many other honda owners of this car have the same problem.i am forced to sell it for a fraction of its cost. Help.

Oil consumption and shaking

I am consuming to much oil. I did not know that there was a problem til after i bought car and the check emission light came on. I thought it was because i didn't not screw my gas cap on tight enough. Then i went to a local store to have them check my oil and they said i had none, and checked my mileage, they said i should have had oil in there at the mileage number it was at. So i have taken the car 3 times to dealer they have done oil consume test, and want me to come in to perform a higher price oil change for $90 to slow oil consumer. They said i was no longer in warranty to fix it. But if this is a known issue why is it that purchasers must come out of their pocket it should taken care of through dealership. I am one that does not have the funds to take care of all this.also at times it stalls

Approximately 5 months ago i noticed that the engine was making a slight ticking sound. I checked the oil and it was a quart low so i added a quart. I didn't check it again because i didn't hear that ticking noise again. Approximately 1 month later i took it to honda in stockton, ca. To have a noise checked that i thought was a brake issue. There was also a noise coming from the front of the car that sounded like something scraping or dragging. When i went to pick it up the man said that it was a quart low and that if i didn't always keep my oil checked then it would void my warranties. I told him that i had just added a whole quart a month earlier. He said that he would push it through this time and to make sure i checked it regularly, at least once a month. I have never had to check a car's oil that often and i had this one serviced regularly and i didn't realize that it was low again, so i started to pay close attention to it and check it regularly. I kept the radio off so i could listen to the engine for that ticking noise and since then i have had to check and add 1/2 of a quart every single week. It is a routine now as the noise will get louder,it loses power, i check it and it is faithfully 1/2 quart low, so i add it. I called honda service in lodi, ca. (where i usually take it for oil changes) and told him the story. He said that in order for them to determine if it is using oil i have to bring it in, have them do an oil change, then have me bring it back in once a week so they can check it and document it- i live 45 minutes away and that is the closest one! he said that at that point i will have to approve a total break-down ($1200 possibly out-of-pocket) to determine the cause and to see if it will be covered under warranty. This is ridiculous! i bought this car brand new and it only has 89k mi on it and i always get it serviced on time and take care of it.

Oil consumption was way off and all 8 of the spark plugs have been changed twice in a year. Car has only 80,000 miles on it and now they want to do a complete tear down of the engine at my expense. I should not be paying for these repairs honda should be liable. I was driving the vehicle in the highway and with no warning it suddenly stopped and went to limp mode . Very dangerous. Serious accidents can and will happen its only a matter of time.the problem: oem piston rings that came original to the car go bad around 60,000 miles.and honda is aware of the issue!!!!!********

The contact owns a 2012 honda insight. While driving at any speed, the oil indicator illuminated and "check oil" displayed on the instrument panel. The check emission warning indicator remained illuminated. The vehicle was driven to a mechanic who diagnosed that the piston and rings had to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 66,000.

At aprox. 59,000 miles my honda insight set a check engine light when i made a sharp left turn. The engine acted like it went into the "limp home mode." i pulled off the road and shut off the car. When i checked the oil, there was none on the dipstick. I was able to start the car and drive it to a store where i could get some oil. It took 3 quarts to fill it up. I change to oil and filter myself so i wondered what had happened. When i checked under the car i couldn't find any leaks. I work 6 days a week so i can't go to the dealer. I drive 120 miles a day round trip to work. I keep my eye on the oil and it seems that it started using 1qt. Every 2000 miles. At 89,000 miles it was going through 1qt. Every 1000 miles. Still no leaks, no smoke from the exhaust and good power. I have to keep a gallon of oil in the back because sometimes the oil will be 3 qts. Low after driving to town on the weekend. At 120,000 miles it started going through 1qt. Every 720 miles. Still plenty of power. At 125,000 miles the check engine light came on and "hill start" "brake system" and "vsa" message came up on the display. After driving 1 day, the other faults will go away, but the check engine light stays on. After reading the codes, the info says that the catalyst is below minimum. My gas mileage has gone down from 43mpg. To 30mpg. I have 135,000 miles on the car now and i'm adding 1qt. Of oil every 300 miles. When i started from work yesterday, the car shut down 3 times with plenty of oil on the dipstick. Power is down to the point that the accelerometer is pegged out all the time now. I bought a honda because i need a dependable car that gets good gas mileage and one that i can to the basic maintenance on. Someone please help!!

Checked oil level and found it below the bottom indicator mark (oil percentage life meter was above 60% at this point.. Took it in to honda of santa maria, ca , while driving to dealership emission systems fault warning came on. They confirmed almost all oil was gone. They had me pay for an oil change to start a oil consumption test, and return at 500 mile point to view loss. They said no loss at that point. 4000 miles later the emission system warning came back, same as before all oil was gone. This time they did an oil change and wanted me to do a 1000 mile and return to check - oil down .25 of oil indicator marks. Did no top off and went another 1000 miles and rechecked, 1 quart low on oil, but honda america says this is with in tolerance and to date refuses to do anything g about it. My next door neighbor had same issue but it get progressively worse after 64000 total miles to point that honda america finally offered to replace their engine at 10% of cost (they did not come in during warranty period). They so far refuse to explain why a modern car like this has such a huge tolerance for oil consumption. Along with this when i first bought the car it had some sort of windshield seal problem that caused a loud vibration noise at highway speeds or if high winds hit front of car at normal speeds (25 to 35 mph). They did fix this, but again my neighbor had exact same problem. Seem these cars a pieces of junk and no one is doing anything about it. I hope you will investigate this as more than just a complaint!

This car is the absolute worst car i have ever owned. The oil consumption is outrageous and the car only has 89k miles on it. It also burns through spark plugs like crazy, i've probably put close to 500 dollars into it at least just in oil and spark plugs this year alone. In the two years i have owned it, it has left me stranded in strange neighborhoods, parking lots, at my job, and at my home because of it throwing the spark plugs with no warning. Upon changing the plugs, all cylinders, especially four, are filled with oil. Most recently, i changed the spark plugs in my work parking lot, and refilled the oil. A week later, i found myself repeating the same process because it killed the plugs again. I have been driving down the road and suddenly lost acceleration, in traffic, and had my dash light up like a christmas tree. To the best of my knowledge, the 2012 and 2013 engine contains experimental piston rings, which are clearly faulty. Not just by my own account, but by countless others as well. I do not have five grand to replace the engine or have it rebuilt, and i should not have to. Honda needs to be held responsible for their mistake and should be forced to recall these engines. The consumers who purchased these vehicles should not be forced to pay for something that is out of their control. These cars are ticking time bombs, i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I will be filing complaints with honda itself as well as the bbb in addition to this one. Please do something about this, i saw how many other complaints you have received in regards to this issue. It's time to do something about this instead of ignoring it and letting honda get away with it. If it died on the freeway, which it almost has, it would become a serious threat to my safety and those around me.

Within the warranty period i noticed that car is consuming unusual quantity of oil (around 58,000 miles).a warning light came on 'check emission system'.i pulled the dipstick and there was barely any oil on the tip.i put 2 quarts of oil into the engine and it still did not reach the top fill line.the car only holds 3.5 quarts.the 'low oil light' never came on, how much oil has to disappear before the oil light comes on?there are no oil leaks from the car.i notified the manufacturer and opened a case.they advised to go to dealer to have 4 'oil consumption tests' performed ' one every thousand miles.i completed all 4 test in around 3 months, the test verified that the car burns up to 1.0 qts/1000 miles.i notified my rep (amber) at the manufacturer of the results of testing.i was informed that my 'case was closed' ' manufacturer did not even bother to find out what the results were, they just 'closed' my case.i requested amber re-open case and take down the results.amber contacted the dealer to verify the consumption data i provided.she then stated 'our engineers have determined that 1.0 to 1.5 qts consumed per 1000 miles is normal for this vehicle.'i responded that this is 'excessive' consumption that is not normal for any vehicle to consume this much oil, and that i purchased the car new and it has always been serviced at the dealer at the required service intervals.amber refused to offer any solution or provide any financial assistance towards correcting what is in my opinion an engine defect.it appeared that she was basically reading off a prepared statement.i now have to add about a quart every 2 fill ups (around 960 miles).the oil costs around $10/ qt but i found that walmart sells a 5 quart jug that lowers the cost to $5/qt.i add oil so frequently that i likely never have to 'change' the oil, although the filter does

Excessive oil consumption - honda insight 2012.engine light came on while driving, took car to the dealer and dealer found no oil (although car stated it was at 50%).dealer added oil, suggested i return after 1,000 miles.brought back car after 1,500 miles and dealer said that per honda, car must have been brought back after 1,000 miles.no noticeable oil loss.at next oil change, dealer found oil to be very low.brought back car after an additional 1,000 miles and honda performed oil consumption test.test came back negative.latest oil change, now indicator states at 60% oil and engine light appeared while driving on june 4th.dealer found no oil.dealer is now performing a overhaul on my engine.dealer will have my car for at least one week or maybe two as i was told that there are two other cars with the same problem ahead of me.dealer offered car rental.

I have a 2012 honda insight with 80000 miles and am having excessive oil consumption at 1 quart of oil per 2000 miles of driving per the dealership.honda says this is acceptable and only a problem at 1 quart per 1000 miles driven.i have read the concerns and the vehicle has poorly seated rings due to a design defect admitted by honda.my concern is this is resulting in loss of compression and resulting total loss of power leaving people with vehicles rolling down the road and then the engine drops out totally.this is a safety issue, environmental issue and of course customer theft issue.

The contact owns a 2012 honda insight. While driving at approximately 60 mph, all of the warning lights on the instrument panel illuminated. In addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle would not accelerate. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was no oil in the vehicle. Three weeks prior to the failure, the vehicle had an oil change. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 56,000. The vin was unavailable. Updated. 5/28/15 *ta the consumer stated the vehicle ran out of oil but that there was no sign of an oil leak. Updated 9/18/2015

About two months ago, my car began fluttering after i started the engine and began accelerating. The power felt reduced as well. Like most people's first instinct, i began checking the oil and noticed the oil appeared low especially considering that i had received an oil change not long before this occurred. Since then i've head to check the oil incessantly and am constantly adding oil to supplement. Then i bergen noticing an oil leak in my drive way and almost anytime i parked somewhere for a short period of time. Then my engine light began coming on telling me to check the vehicle's emissions system. This was an issue i had never seen before. Now i realize this message is illuminated due to a high oil consumption of the vehicle. The final straw that broke the camel's back was, while on the highway my vehicle began losing engine power and could not get above 65 mph. The engine began making loud puttering noises, that were especially intense while the vehicle was costing and immediately upon accelerating from a complete stop. My fear is that the engine is shot at this point. I'm even more concerned after seeing this is a chronic issue with many owners off this year - make - model. Unfortunately, i purchased this vehicle used and haven't had it even a year.

Excessive oil consumption

My daughter's honda insight experienced the excessive oil consumption issue.her vehicle later had severe engine problems and stalled at 6:00 am on i-64.a honda dealership diagnosed the problem as damage to cylinder, piston, cylinder head and valves of cylinder number 3.all other cylinders were within normal operating conditions.my complaint is that the notice sent to consumers omitted that the excessive oil consumption could lead to engine failure and an accident.consumers with little or no mechanical knowledge who purchased this vehicle used, may not be aware of the problem and will not be aware of the risk and severity of the problem.those who notice excessive oil consumption may assume that it is from age and not a design defect that could place their life in danger.the service bulletin sent by honda to its dealerships is almost identical to that provided the consumer with one exception.the service bulletin included additional information describing the potential damage to the engine from the manufacture's defect.when the natural consequences of this manufacture's defect occur it the engine immediately loses power and will not run.in my daughter's case it was early in the morning with little traffic.however, she was on i-64 about to merge onto i-95.had the engine failed at a later time in the day she would have lost power in traffic on a major highway.vehicles behind her would have no reason to expect a sudden loss of acceleration.the potential for rear-end collisions and/or crashes while the operator of this model honda is attempting to exit the highway with no power is very high.

While driving, the vehicle would lose a considerable amount of oil over decreasing amount of miles to the point where the car now loses 1.5 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles (verified by local honda dealer).this issue causes the spark plugs to foul out leading to cars that stall while driving.this happened to me once while driving in a city and the car had to be towed to the local honda dealer where they replaced the bad spark plugs and the car was back on it's way, but the car is still burning the oil and it is only a matter of time before this situation happens again.this incident started in december, 2015 and persists to this day.

Just hit 69,000 miles and car is suddenly burning over a quart of oil every 2 weeks.

My honda insight 2012 is burning oil. After an oil change i drive around 800 miles i'm 1/2 quart low on oil. This is not normal at all.

[i have the svc records for this info-points of contact are at the end of the report] on jan 8th at about 630 am i was driving on i495w in va - i was at the intersection of i495 and the exits for i95s and i395 washington. I was driving about 55 miles/hr and my car engine simply stopped.i put my hazards on and glided to the side of the road.the car has 125,400 miles--i purchased it new in feb, 2012. I was towed to sheehy honda, alexandria, va.they said the spark plugs were fouled and replaced them. After replacement, they said the there was oil in the spark plug cylinders. They then told me that they could not fix my car - engine needed to be replaced at a cost of $12,000. I called american honda and the case manager said the cause of the stall was oil in the combustion chamber. I gave her the car history-she said the car was out of warranty- they would not be able to provide me substantial assistancefor engine replacement. She did offer to investigate the case but gave no estimate for completion. I have traded the car in on a new prius. Bkgrnd- problems began with low oil pressure light flashing at 75,000 in dec, 2013. Since then i have been burning (1) quart of oil every 1,000 miles.i brought the car in about (8) times to my normal service ctr, heritage honda, parkville, md,for oil sensor replacements and oill consumption checks conducted by the dealership between dec,2013-july2014. I also had oil changes at jiffy lube.in july, 2014 at 100,000 miles the car stalled out on i95. I drifted to the side of the road, restarted and brought it to heritage honda. They said it needed new spark plugs.i continued to do normal oil changes and, in between, added (1) qtoil per 1000miles until the incident onjan 8. Oil consumption and shaking

Excessive oil consumption is experienced between oil changes. 'check emissions system' code shows on dash.

Began having hip and lower back pain on a longer commute than i was normally driving after changing jobs. It started as discomfort and soon moved to severe pain in the lower back, numbness in my left leg and foot. I thought maybe it was just me.my wife's car lease was ending around this time so i got a different car and the low back pain went away along with the numbness. Now my wife, who is still driving the 2012 insight and has never had back or hip pain, is experiencing the exact same problems i was when i was driving the insight.

Within a few weeks of purchasing my honda insight, i began to develop lower back pain related to sitting in the driver's seat.not only is there a general lack of cushioning in the base of the seat which alone would be frustrating, but there also is a rigid lower back / lumbar support that is extremely uncomfortable.this is the first time that i can recall where i have had an issue with a car seat.there unfortunately is no apparent method to adjust the amount of lower back support, and modifying the position of the seat has proven fruitless.i believe that the design of the seat is flawed.

When the driver step on it's braking systems by foot to stop the this car, it will starts to wobble it's back body of this car and shakes it seems the braking system on it's both rear braking system are dragging in every time we step on it's braking system. It will rattle the drivers when stepping on the braking system it's rear body will shakes and wobbles from side to sides before it will completely stops this car. During running when the driver will step the braking system, the rear of the car will wobbles / shaking and dragging it's rear braking and it is very dangerous for the new driver person to drive she / he may panic and cause to crash the this car.

Ntsb: 2012 honda has problems with both shock absorbers were leaking fluid all over the wheel wells.the consumer requested information about the vehicle's airbag recall that was performed.the consumer was informed that repairing the tpms would cost $700.00. Updated 04/17/2017

High oil consumption before every oil change.

Excessive oil consumption at approximately 60,000 miles. Check emission system light on, low oil however oil light does not alert me.have to regularly add oil between recommended oil changes.

Door lock actuator malfunctions. Continues to lock itself when driving, continues to lock itself when sitting and car is not running. Ongoing for many months. Hundreds of dollars to replace, i'm opting to disconnect and live with manual locks.
