I was driving down a road (with my friend in the passenger seat next to me just to note) that is being repaved and it's not anything that i haven't driven on before, just a little tiny bit shaky here and there but again nothing crazy. I'm going about 10-15 mph and all of the sudden my airbags just go off. Nothing hit, no pothole in sight, just slowly driving down the road and bam. I was spooked as i couldn't brace for it at all because i wasn't expecting it. My windows were up so the sound of it coming out basically wrecked my ears and it came out along with a bunch of smoke. I put the car in park and got out to look, confused as to what had triggered it but nothing, no damage to the car at all, nothing hit.at honda they were not having it. They told me that they can replace it under warranty if it was proved to be a defect. I argued that it must be considering i didn't hit anything and was driving slow and there is absolutely no damage on the car. She said they'll lift it and if there is anything on the bottom of the car to indicate that the sensor was touched, it's instantly out of warranty and i need to go through insurance.how is this okay? clearly this is some defect with the car and i'm being penalized for it. They called today for the result and said the car hit the ground and damaged the sensor so it's on me to pay for damages. I find that hard to believe because i felt no impact and was able to continue driving the car after it happened. I put it in park right away to come out but once i was told by the police to go to honda i put the car into drive and smoothly drove off to the dealership.what can i do to have honda accept their responsibility? i never thought that regular driving on a slightly bumpy road (basically flat and pebbly) means that the airbags would go off. There were many cars on that road yet their airbags didn't go off.
I parked my car in the driveway and put the brake on and the car in park.i sat in my car while off for a minute while calling my son to ask him a question.about 30 seconds after i got out of the car and shut the door (there was no noise indication there was an issue), the car rolled out of my driveway and hit my neighbors car.when i went to check my car, the car was still in park and the red brake light was still glowing. I had brought my car in 2 times before this happened to complain that the electrical system with the stability control wasn't working properly.the car was braking on its on and lane assist kept coming on when it shouldn't have.honda said all was good.the last time i brought it in, for the tire lights coming on, they said the tire sticker was too close to the rim and that's why there was an issue.this was after bringing it in for this problem 2 times to be told it was ok and they only addressed it after my flat.but within 30 minutes of driving away the lights came on again.for sure there is a problem with this car and i don't feel safe driving it.

While driving (50+/- mph) on a two lane state road, my 2019 honda civic hatchback sport cmbs (collision mitigation braking system) automatically engaged, bringing my vehicle very close to a complete stop for no reason i could see. There were no vehicles in front of me in either direction and fortunately no vehicle following or i would have been rear-ended. Clear morning, nothing on the roadway, no wildlife i saw. Dry and sunny, no leaves, no breeze, bare pavement. A sweet june morning in dutchess county, ny. Out of the blue the cmbs engaged automatically applying the brakes so hard i could feel the abs kicking on and in moments i was at a crawl, then the car simply behaved normally again. I've owned this car less than a week. There is no means provided to shut this feature off permanently. The only way to override the cmbs is to manually turn it off every time i restart the car. It resets every time the car is turned off. This feature may wind up causing more rear end collisions as it avoids front end collisions. What would the consequences be if that scenario happened while on a curve, driving 50 mph in the rain? or in rush hour traffic on a highway at 60 mph (or faster) where commuters typically tailgate across three or four lanes of traffic? this was my very first experience with cmbs in any vehicle and i consider it a total failure and extremely dangerous when it can engage with such force while it's a false alarm.
On december 20, i bought the car, honda civic type r 2019 red.approximately the day i bought it, i noticed that when i put the second change to a strange noise, i told the seller [xxx]and he told me that maybe it is me who is throwing the wrong changes. Time passes and i keep going more often i call america honda the following month, which was in january about 3 weeks after buying the vehicle and i tell them that i am having problems with the transmission that every time i put the second change it makes me an strange noise, all the information is pointed out, the case number they give me is # [xxx] and in that case number is all the information previously mentioned. When i make the first change of oil and filter of the auto i communicate what of said failure and they tell me the car is well maybe they are theirs. On march 24 i noticed that when i put the car in second place the change after several days took the car to the dealer yesterday march 25, 2019 and today march 26 the manager calls me if he authorized it to lower the transmission since the codes that the car gave him did not say anything accurate and the technician tells him that there may have been a bad handling or a bad change and there is the communication to the service manager [xxx] the car is new and since he bought it had a failure of transmission so mismanagement can not be and he tells me that the technician confirm that there was a mishandling or honda guarantee or the extended that i put additional to the car would cover the damage and at that time i communicate from the beginning communicate problems of transmission.my name is [xxx] and phone num is [xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).*cc
I was recently charged for a repair to my 2019 honda civic type r by chapman honda of tucson, arizona.chapman honda incorrectly blames the repair on washing the car/engine.subsequent research into the issue shows the issue of water present in spark plug cylinders of this model vehicle have occurred globally, and has nothing to do with washing any part of the vehicle. The problem is a design flaw with this vehicle, and it is a safety issue with the vehicle.
This car was just released from being 'fixed,' at the dealership.the day after the car stalled on the highway nearly causing an accident.the car has the following problems since 5000 miles and is supposed to have been a new car.it's a lemon.1.engine cylinders flooded with coolant 2.engine not working 3.dashboard computer flashing all systems failure (since 30 days after car was purchased in 11/2019.never resolved).4.heater not working.entire ac system replaced.they also said some valve had gone out as well.that's never been made clear to me in spite of repeated inquiries.5.car out of service since feb 23 to date.honda corporate has told me to pound sand.to go make a lemon law complaint.
I accelerated into a driveway of a convenience store and as i was halfway through the driveway my gas pedal became unresponsive and would not accelerate.car started rolling back into traffic. 2 weeks later my pedal became unresponsive on the freeway. I exited and immediately called thd dealer because i had already taken it to get checked out after the first incident and they basically said nothing can be done but to trade it in since the mechanic had already said there was nothing wrong.

Brand new 2019 civic with a leaking condenser. Car has 4862miles, with all the extended warranties. Honda refused coverage even though they have not done all they can to protect such a fragile component. Was told a "small pebble" hit the condenser causing a leak. In 2012 honda settled a 40million dollar class action for this very same thing on the crv and other models. On this class action they agreed to have dealerships put a metal screen to protect the condenser. Why aren't they doing this with all vehicles!?!?! honda is straight up running a scam on it's customers. At $1,000.00 a pop per repair, my local dealership admitted to seeing at least 5 of this type or repair coming through every week!! imagine how much refrigerant is leaking into the atmosphere!? 5 a week at one dealership....wow.

Terrible smell inside the car and outside when parked in garage after short drive. Oil dilution . Strong gasoline vapors . Gasoline mixing with oil in engine

Every time i drive at least 30-35 miles i get the mitigation, collision and acc problem ive taken the car to honda 3 times and they are not able to figure out the problem. I've paid for them to recenter the radar sensor but that didn't work now they are requesting i replace radar for $1,500. This car has 40,000 miles on it why am i having issues already? once i turn the car off the error message leave but once i get to the 30-35 miles it comes back up.

Most recently, driving along on a sunny day at about 45 mph on a flat road. No other vehicles on the road in sight. The collision warning system beeped and flashed the warning on the dash. At the same time the system engaged the brakes momentarily before disengaging. The braking lowered my speed to about 30-35 mph. The only conclusion i could reach was that the system mistook the shadow of a tree for an object but i have no way to know.this has happened before when taking an exit ramp from a highway when the collision warning flashed and the system engaged the brakes momentarily, dropping my speed somewhat, before disengaging.in both cases, i do not know why the system disengaged, though i am glad it did as other vehicles approached from behind soon after.
I was driving on an empty road with speed limit 40 mph.it was 2:30 pm with sunny conditions.the car started beeping and then the car's brakes automatically engaged violently. There was no car, people, animal, debris anywhere in front or to the side of me.it is an unsafe condition because a car could have been behind me and rear ended me because of the sudden braking.

On friday, april 2nd, i was driving home on the 710 fwy on the far left lane.i was driving around 75mph and there was an object on the ground which looked like an empty potato chip bag, it wasn't anything that would have done any damage to my car but my honda sense's collision mitigation braking system activated for no reason and alerted me to brake and started applying pressure.i had no reason to stop so i had to swerve into the shoulder lane to prevent my car from braking unexpectedly which could have resulted into a deadly collision if there was a car close behind me.i have footage of the video and requested this to be looked into because if this is a faulty sensory issue, i would like it corrected immediately to prevent further issues.i do not want this to happen again because this incident was very dangerous when i did not have control of my own vehicle and it tried to override my command to keep driving straight.

The vehicle quit running three times it acted like a fuel pump no check engine light. Came on i was driving on a city street and i had the air on.

I was driving my honda civic 2019 in the freeway- car pool lane. All of a sudden, without any warning light or symptoms, my car engine just stalled. I immediately switched on the emergency light and put the car in neutral gear and somehow made sure the cars behind me were aware that i am stalled. Luckily no crash/incident, but i was stuck in car pool lane still at the risk of car pile up accident. I called 911 and a cop showed in the next 5 minutes. He stopped all cars in all lanes and pushed my car gently over shoulder. Those 5 minutes was very risky and the scariest spot where me and wife were sitting in the car in the car pool lane while cars behind us were dodging us to avoid crash. Now, honda is saying this may be fuel pump problem and when i checked my vin in nhtsa, it has the incomplete recall for fuel pump. I wanted the concerned authorities to take action over honda to recall all cars with this issue to replace fuel pumps immediately to avoid any crashes.
Car stalled out while driving and would not restart. Pretty sure it's the fuel pump
Honda is refusing to fix the open recall i have on my 2019 honda civic.my car stalled and nearly caused me to have an accident.my car is also burning a lot of gas.
Once i learned of the recall, i made an appointment in mid-july. When i went to my appointment, the advisor was not there, the part was not ordered, and a different advisor said they would order the part and it would arrive within a week. After more than a week, i called to check what was going on and they said the part was still waiting to be delivered the following day and i would receive a phone call when it arrived. I did not receive any phone call or notification that the part was in stock to be installed. About a week after that, i received a text and email stating that the work on my car (recall) was completed and they wanted my feedback. Since i showed up for my appointment to have the recall work completed, it has been more than two months and i have not receieved any call or notice from this honda dealership to remedy the situaion. I called them this past week, left a voicemail, spoke to a diffferent advisor who could not tell me why i have yet to have the recall completed, and said i would receive a phone call from the second advisor (the one who ordered the part when my advisor was not present). I have yet to receieve any communication from this dealership about this recall or how to correct this situation.
When pressing the accelerator the car stalls or bogs down especially when turning, but sometimes when simply accelerating.my wife and i are afraid that we might get hit when the car bogs out while turning.we really like the car, but need to eliminate the bogging condition.
Car cutting out under load when accelerating.i believe i have a fuel pump problem. I also seen where they are recalling 628,124 cars and mine falls in the 2019 sedan civic si.
I bought the car 4/1/2021, with 15,000 miles on it.in just 2 months, i have had two incidents of the car decelerating.when i was at a traffic light and from a complete stop, i accelerated and the car decelerated and almost stalled in the intersection.i was making a left-hand turn both times and if the car had stalled, an oncoming car could have hit me.this could have caused a serious accident.i notice there is a recall for this problem on other honda models, but not my car.i am afraid to drive it now because i live in a major city and there is a lot of traffic.
I received an error message on my honda civic 2019 on wednesday may 8, 2019 in the evening while the car was in motion on the highway. The message said "emissions system problem". When i got to my home, i put the car in park and researched what the error message might mean. I called honda the next day and they informed that there was an active recall occurring with honda civics and that i should have received a notice. I had and have not received any correspondence in regard to a recall on the vehicle. I decided to search my vin and there was no information available. I took my vehicle to ocean honda in weymouth today and requested written notice of the recall. I received a service bulletin dated march 21, 2019, however i had leased my car after this date. I spoke with josh in the service department to find out why the service was not performed prior to my lease agreement. Josh informed that the recall is not safety related and is currently performing maintenance.

My car always grinds going into second gear i actually can't downshift into second gear if i'm trying to come to a stop because it grinds really bad will not even enter second gear from a downshift sometimes so it requires me to come to a complete stop and start in first gear i reported this right when the car was new at 5k miles it did it from day 1 but they said nothings wrong but i've had manual transmissions in the past i know this is not normal

Traveling uphill on highway 17 santa cruz county california the engine started to race fast and the car slowly stopped moving forward. Strong smell from the underside of the car and the car could not move forward any longer. The clutch appeared to be slipping constantly and would not hold.12,000 mikecwarrentrr and were at 13000 miles. A very costly repair glide to $5,000.
I had purchased this vehicle on may 27th 2021.on june 10th 2021 the transmission blew out (the car only has 11,992 miles). Even though i was able to purchase an extended warranty it appears that due to a code stored from the previous owner on november 2020 (p0219 engine overrev). The factory warranty is voided.this is unsafe to the consumer as the actual code is a private honda dealership secret, and i had zero way of seeing this code.it was not on carfax and dealerships wonā€™t share information about a vehicle if you were not the owner at the time.

Everytime i start the car i get a low tire pressure warning, i have checked all four tire pressures and the spare repeatedly, and regardless of whether i fill them with the correct pressure or not the tpms does not stop signaling low tire pressure. Warning has not gone away since it came up despite correcting pressure bi-weekly. Currently has been 6 months. Also occasionally the car will brake by itself both on the highway and around neighborhoods (low speeds and high) and without anyone in front.
I own a 6 speed manual sport coupe purchased on 5/30/19. On 2/10/20 i was stopped at a light on a slight downhill 15- 20' behind car in front. Shift was in neutral with my foot on brake pedal. After a while, my car started moving forward. I pushed harder on the brake pedeal but no response and coasted into rear of car.one person in each car and nobody injured.fearful that brake failure would occur again, had car towed to local honda dealer where purchased.receipt to me indicted they did diagnostic testing, inspected brake system and test drove car."advised customer no problems at the moment". As noted before testing, since no manufacturer defects found was charged $139.95. On 2/11, received call from mgr. Of honda svc. Dept. Due to my negative survey responses.told him i was not satisfied with answer by employee to my question of why forward collision mitigation/fcm did not brake when getting close to car.mgr. Stated that fcm is designed not to work when car in neutral or reverse. I consider lack of fcm in neutral to be a serious safety design flaw.mgr. Then recommended that i open case with honda customer relations which done on 2/14.rep. Took down my info. And asked what i wanted from honda.i said they need to determine why the brake failure happened and what can be done so i have confidence that it will never occur again.she then gave me a case # and stated that it would need to be referred to the "level 1" dept. Handling accidents/injuries/fatalities.received a call from "level 1" on 2/17 but was told there was nothing they could do/was a local dealer issue and he was to contact the mgr. Of the local honda svc. Dept. I sent voice/e-mails to mgr. Of local honda svc. Dept. On 2/21 noting my experience with cust. Relations/"level 1", and asking what are the next steps -- awaiting response.i am currently driving the car in fear/on edge. *ln*as

I own the 6 speed manual trans hatchback sport. Purchased aug 12, 2019. Last night i exited the vehicle, wanting to keep it running and use he headlights to see- put the car in neutral and applied parking brake. Brake failed and car rolled across the parking lot. I religiously apply this brake. I have come to the car before in supermarket lot and such to find the brake off, but chalked it up to having already disabled it myself. This was not the case last night. Huge safety hazard. Needs addressing.
Monday 6.10.19 my daughter made a left hand turn from ward road to 44th ave. An f150 came to a stop and she applied brakes accordingly. She got errors collision mitigation and she lost the ability to brake. She read ended the f150. In her words it was like sliding on ice. Crash was under 20 mph and her phone picked up software errors. Car is with usaa as of 6/13/19 wheat ridge pd was on scene but no tickets issues due to car failure.
When driving home from work my car suddenly showed multiple errors such as emissions system problem, brake system problem, hill start problem, power steering problem , ems system problem. The car only has 14,000 miles and is a year old. The car does not shift or steer properly. Please recall this car because many others have had the same problem.
I was slightly braking because the vehicle in front of me was going to make a right turn instead of braking it started speeding making a strange noise i was able to slightly releasethe brake and brake again so it wouldn't hit the car in the front.
On two occasions, my car's automatic braking system has engaged when nothing was in front of me. The first time, i was on the highway, and merging from an on ramp. The car suddenly dead stopped, brakes fully engaged. There was a car next to me, but nothing in front of me to cause the braking system. Luckily, no one was behind me. The second occurrence i was traveling about 30 mph on a local road. There was nothing anywhere around me. I approached a green light, and as i was going through the intersection, the cars braking system fully engaged. It screeched the car to a halt.i was at a dead stop, in the middle of the intersection.

On the driver side, it has some weird noise or sound. It sounds like the metal rubbing with the car. Searched the problem online before and found a lot of people having the same issue. Sometime even going straight still able to hear it.
The steering wheel reel assembly makes a click sound which is an in dictation of inadequate lubrication. The assembly itself can not be relubricated as the entire assembly is sealed. Honda would need to replace the entire pasty the incorporates the assembly. However, technicians are stating that this is unneeded and normal part of the car.this is in actuality, untrue and can be ultimately dangerous for the driver.
The power steering didn't work. There were warning messages displayed for tire pressure monitor problem, adaptive cruise control problem, lane keeping assist problem, brake system problem, brake hold system problem, power steering system (eps) problem, vehicle stability assist (vsa) problem, hill start assist problem, collision mitigation system problem, road departure mitigation system problem when turning the car on. This condition was verified by the dealer on both occurrences. First occurrence was 6/8/21. It was towed to spreen honda dealer in corona, ca. According to the the first invoice dated 6/8/21 for the repair there was "confirmed fault code for c1420 main torque sensor and sub torque sensor, c1421-14 malfunction to steering angle, confirmed multiple fault codes due to rodent damage to the steering system sub harness chewed thru replaced the steering torque sensor sub harness and calibrated the steering angle sensor, cleared fault code now ok." same problem occurred 7/8/2021. Taken to spreen honda again on 7/9/21. Wire harness again replaced, steering angle sensor replaced and power steering calibration performed. I have the wire harness that was replaced. Service advisor stated this is a problem with honda wire harnesses because the insulation on the wires is soy based. He has seen it many times, including one customer at riverside dealer who had rodents eat his wire harness four times while he was working there.not having operational power steering makes driving the vehicle very difficult and potentially dangerous.

September 13 2019 - front spoiler under the bumper partially detached while driving on i-65 at ~70 mph. This happened suddenly and violently and nearly resulted in an accident when it happened due to the spoiler immediately dragging the payment (i.e. Impacting control of the car coupled with startling the driver). No previous collision or trauma had impacted the spoiler prior to this incident (e.g. It had not hit a parking curb). A passenger corroborated the facts detailed by the driver. Spoiler was replaced by the dealership (honda world in louisville, ky) a few days later. June 6 2020 -the exact same incident occurred while driving on i-64 at ~70 mph, which also nearly caused an accident. Similar to the 9/13/19 incident, there had been no collision or trauma impacting the spoiler prior this second incident. This time, there were two eye witnesses (mother & father of the driver) in the car directly in front of the civic, as well as 2 passengers, all of which corroborated these facts. We tied the partially detached spoiler to the bumper so that it remained drivable home. June 8, 2020 - brought the car to the dealership again and informed them of this second incident, that occurred exactly the same as the first back in september without any previous trauma occurring to the part that partially detached. Instead of listening they were immediately confrontational, saying there had to have been a collision (i.e. They didn't believe us). They told us to call insurance and that there was nothing they could do. Further, they mentioned that when we called the 1-800 honda customer care #, that honda would call them back and they would say there had to have been a collision (i.e. They would tell honda that we were lying). Please advise on who we should contact about this potential cover up of a serious safety issue. We are concerned other honda civic owners may be in danger.
I was driving 70 on the free way in the far left lane and my tire blew and i ended up hitting the rail all the way on the right lane.
Small dings on the rear part of the car, window specifically behind the rear windows, on the rear pillar on both sides

Vehicle has been on the road for about 4 months, only about 2500 miles and air conditioning started blowing hot. Upon research, the following years 2016-2018 honda civics have warranty on the condensers for improper manufacturing of condensers. Upon further inspection, air conditioning condenser has leaking spots.

2019 honda civic ex was running normally. Next day i start it up and nearly every warning light on the dash illuminatesā€”no power steering, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, braking system, and more.car is not drivable. At 39k miles honda says itā€™s out of warranty.

Driving on i-64 in virginia when a loud pop was heard and saw glass off the back of the vehicle.sunroof had shattered for no apparent reason.
All warning lights illuminate, have lost power steering, followed by complete loss of acceleration. This has occurred more than 8 times since purchasing the vehicle "new" on march 19, 2019. Have towed vehicle to dealer four times. Have sent still, and video documentation. Dealer service manager has told me they do not know how to fix this very serious problem. Contacted honda corporate customer service, and they have been very slow to respond & resolve this issue. In addition, all warning light illumination issue has occurred when starting vehicle cold, without motion. Warning lights stay illuminated. Vehicle is unsafe to drive.
Irregular cooling from ac, same temperature control will feel cool one day and next day it feels like the car is not cooling much at all. I believe there is already a lawsuit about the same issue against honda, but i can only become a party to that if i incur some repair expenses. I have had freon refilled twice and recently had ac condenser replaced (under warranty) but i am still not convinced it is working optimally for a car that barely has 5500 miles, despite being almost 2 years old.
I was on a state road exiting on a ramp while the vehicle was in motion driving 40 miles per hour approximately two days ago.the vehicle while in motion and accelerating stopped.the car threw me back and forth causing me to go the er the following day.reston hospital in northern virginia.i took the car right after and dropped off at dealership for repair.dealership is not giving me any concrete answers if the car is safe to drive again.i read online a owner of a honda 2019 civic same as mine had the same problem of stopping while in motion while on a highway suddenly.i do have product update: fuel level sensor dtc space p0461 software update notice from honda i just received.do not know if this is involved with my current incident? i'm scared to drive my new car and now in pain medicine , muscle relaxer medicine and have been issued a plan to go to physical therapy from the doctor on call at the er.
Unattended acceleration .the car surged by itself.the brake did not work.the car jumped a curb and went into a building.there it made a whole and with such force broke through bricks.the car only has 2800 miles and i leased it in oct. 19. I was pulling into a parking spot when it happened.
The engine heat plate has fallen off twice during normal highway travel and dragging on the road causing sparks making my vehicle unsafe and unable to drive. The first time i paid to have it repaired. Now that this has happened for the 2nd time, i feel this is going to be an ongoing issue. The first incident happened in april of last year.
Twice while driving at 60 mph the cruise control dropped out for no reason. I have low pressure alarms for no reason. These were always while i was driving.i had 6 in may and june took it to the dealer on july 3, they could not find anything wrong. That afternoon i had the low pressure alarm come on for no reason tires at at normal pressure.
Adaptive cruise control was engaged at a stop light. When the car in front moved adaptive cruise would not disengage. There was at least 30 feet clearance to the next object. Cruise was turned off and the brakes released.
The contact owns a 2019 honda civic. The contact stated that after stopping in the parking space the vehicle suddenly experienced unintended acceleration causing the vehicle to drive over a curb and into the street before the driver was able to stop the vehicle. The cause of the failure was not determined. The contact indicated that during the failure, the brake pedal was being depressed. The local dealer was contacted and informed of the failure. The manufacturer was not yet notified.the failure mileage was 39,000.
Just purchased the vehicle at 359xx miles 3 days ago. At 36,2xx miles, while driving, all the dash lights came on saying there was a failure in the braking system, emergency brake, tpms, lane departure, brake hold, hill assist, impact sensor, emissions system, power steering, and the information system all showed as malfunctioning. 2019 honda civic. Consumer writes in regard to design defect with the visibility of the rear window because it is tilted upwards. *asthe consumer stated she backed into a vehicle due to being unable to see the vehicle in the rear. The bottom part of the image on the reverse camera is cut off by the body of the vehicle. When it rains the water covers the camera lens.
I was driving 70 on the free way in the far left lane and my tire blew and i ended up hitting the rail all the way on the right lane.
The winshield has cracked twice in the one year i have owned it. It costs $1,000 to repair it. I have never had a winshield crack in 33 years of owning cars. There is an issue causing this to occur. I had a rock chip in both instances.
The contact owns a 2019 honda civic. The contact stated that all four doors windows held water, especially the front driver's side door window. The contact was unable to see out of the front driver's side window while driving due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to honda of jefferson city (located at 3625 missouri blvd, jefferson city, mo 65109, (573) 893-7676) where a wet test was completed and the failure recurred. The contact was informed that there was a material defect. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was designed in that manner. No assistance was offered. The approximate failure mileage was 200. The vin was not available.
Today, i was driving my 2019 honda civic sport to performance honda in fairfield, oh for a warranty-related problem regarding tpms and a faulty tire. The biggest issue is that the front, left tire did not hold air. Every few days, i had to add air to my tires/reset the tpms system, as described by owners.honda.com. Within the last week, my front, left, tire lost air so quickly that i decided to take the vehicle in for service. As of today, the vehicle has 4,000.00 miles (exact).during the trip there, the front, left tire blew out and jerked me to the left (60 mph). While easing into the brake (not pumping), i steered to the right and pulled into the shoulder lane. Upon stopping, i shifted into, "p," and then activated the parking brake. Then, i took my my foot off the brake and turned on the emergency flashers.i called aaa and got towed the rest of the way there. Tpms needs to tell the driver what the pressure is in each tire; my grandfather has a 2019 vehicle that does. At least i was not injured today!

These were always while i was driving.i had 6 in may and june took it to the dealer on july 3, they could not find anything wrong. The tpms has came on warning of a low tire. The tires were checked and none were low. This has happened a couple of times. Today while driving something punctured the side wall of the tireand it went flat the tpms did not indicate a low tire. I pulled to a safe place and changed the flat tire. The vehicle was left running and the tpms finally came on when i dropped the flat tire into the trunk. The tmps on my sons 2019 civichas indicated a low tire a couple of different times and the tires are at correct psi.
The tpms sensor keeps turning on since we bought this vehicle brand new from lia honda of kingston. The problem was reported to american honda (case # 11487126). Per their (honda) advice, the vehicle was brought into the honda dealership (lia honda of albany and keeler honda in latham) to diagnose this issue. Still, the service technicians were unable to identify the root cause of this issue. The readings from tire pressure for all tires showed no sign of leakage or low tire pressure. The ratings were taken at different intervals and showed the normal tire pressure readings.the issue still exists, and american honda has not shown any interest in correcting this problem. The vehicle has roughly 7k miles and is still under full factory warranty.thank you in advance for looking into this matter.-shakti chauhan
