Dt:when turning on bright light switch while driving the engine dies and the lights go out, this intermittent in nature.did contact manufacturer, who not concerned, told consumer to take to dealer.consumer took vehicle to the dealer, who said they did not have to replace part because thiswas a ground wire problem after being originally diagnosed as a battery issue which was replacedanddid not remedy problem.dealer agreed to fix problem which consumer had to pay for, but has not had any problems since repair.
After complaining about the brakes while driving at 30 mph the brakes locked up andthe motorcycle slid into a vehicle. Consumer later receivedrecall04v387000.
After receivingrecall 04v254000 for rear brake linkage consumer made several attempts to have the motorcycle repaired. Motorcycle remained defective because the parts were never in. Brakes failed, skidded, and crashed.
While applying the brakes motorcycle failed to stop. Consumer lost control of the motorcycle and crashedinto a ditch. Consumer was not injured.consumer was able to drive the motorcycle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the rotor was bent, and needed to be replaced. Consumer informed the mechanic that this problem occurred more than once, and the had not been resolved.
Driver applied the brakes on the motorcycle and it failed to stop. Driver was able to maintain control of the motorcycle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic determined that the rotors needed to be replaceddue to corrosion.
While making a turn, and applyingbrakes, the rear brakes failed.the vehicle slid across the road.recall 04v387000 was issued for the brakes.
Recall 04v387000 concerning motorcycles brake system linkage. Dealer refused to honor recall because the consumer did not purchase the motorcycle there.
