Have replaced three stators on the vehicle prior. The first two done by myself (after manufacturer's warranty expired) the third done by honda under a "warranty extension" after the first two occurrences. Dates can be provided if necessary. Stator has once again failed, but dealers do not stock these parts so there is once again a wait while the vehicle is not fully operational.
2005 honda gl1800i have had a front steering wobble since new. The front tire was replaced under warranty.it may have corrected 50% but still have a front wobble, especially around 40 mph. The dealer says its just built into the bike. Friends of mine have instilled taper roller bearings and that fixes the problem. Honda says they don't have a wobble problem. Just visit some goldwing web boards and you can see how bad the problem really is.
Honda goldwing gl1800 05 modelfront end has a wobble not sure if its the tire that whole front end. This bike only has 700 miles. Note this complaint is in support of odi #10135765.
