2015 honda accord got called in for recall dealing with battery going into failsafe mode and causes caused engine to stall the issue has not been resolved it made matters worst.the p2602 sensor coolant pump sensor now shows on dash emission problems .honda service dept now wants is to replace pump a hefty 900 dollar job that's obviously a factory defect.

I was driving on a highway at 70mph when signs suchs as "engine cooling system problem", "emissions system problem" started displaying on dashboard and speed was decreasing and i couldn't speed up. I pulled over to the shoulder and turned off the car and turned it back on and signs were gone. I drove home fine. I went to dealership and they stated nothing is wrong with the car.

Vehicle stalled while driving on a highway with power system failure warning. I could not accelerate the car. I had to take the exit since i was luckily in the right lane and close to the exit. Car was running on battery only at around 30 mph. I pulled out in the parking lot, turned off power and turned back on and was able to reach home. I took the car to the dealer, they could not diagnose the issue right away and asked meto leave the cardie to drivability issue. They called us back after 2 days and told us that they updated the software. I do not feel safe driving this car. Please take necessary action immediately.

The radio keeps freezing, there are many glitches in it. Sometimes the pandora app does not work. Honda lack to update the system to have apple siri eyes free like its website promised.

Driving in middle lane of three-lane interstate at 70 mph, car suddenly shut down without advance warning.indicator came on stating "battery charging" problem. The turn signals did not work, the emergency flasherdid not work, power steering stopped and brakes worked only with pumping and pushing hard, car had nopower. With tractor-trailers and vehicles on both sides, in front and in the rear, all going 70 mph the situationwas extremely dangerous. Fortunately, i was not hit and with the car's inertia, i was able to eventuallyget to the shoulder of the road and bring the car to a stop.

While driving on highway all warning lights came on (in the dashboard with an exclamation point) and the car speed dropped to less than 40 m/hr

The contact owns a 2015 honda accord hybrid. While driving approximately 78 mph, the warning message for the power failure, brake failure, overheated powering down displayed on the instrument panel. In addition, the check engine light illuminated.the vehicle decelerated and was merged to the side of the road.the vehicle was towed to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that a software update was needed and caused conflict between hybrid voltage and engine voltage.the vehicle was repaired.the manufacturer was notified of the issue.the approximate failure mileage was 2,000.

I was commuting to work, driving on a major, high-traffic highway in the high-occupancy vehicle lane, when warning lights came on, saying there was a power system problem, a brake system problem, and some problem with elevated temperature that meant power was being reduced. I put on my flasher, hoping to make my way across three lanes of heavy traffic to pull off on the right shoulder. But i had no power at all. Luckily, there was a shoulder to the left where i could pull off. (despite the warning, the brakes seemed okay.) this was an extremely dangerous situation, and it was pure luck that no one was injured or even killed. The car is only 4 months old. I had it towed to the dealer. They told me this was "a common problem" with the accord hybrid and that honda had issued a software fix that should solve this problem. If this is true, there needs to be a recall so owners will become aware of this problem and can get it fixed rather than waiting until power failures and accidents occur.

Problem usually occurs during the day and when the weather is hot. Power system problem display comes on and engine service light as well. Turning the car off and on helps but the engine light stays on for another 24 hrs or so before turning off.the car felt like it lose gas engine power and operates electric only.i was going 65mph on the freeway, and when i try to step on the gas peddel, i can maintain that speed as long as the battery had enough power but the gas engine will not kick on. It was not a pleasant experience as i was driving on the left lane and was quickly trying to move over to the right on a freeway without shoulders. Luckily i was able to make it to the next nearest exit, half a mile away.had the error msg appear 4 times in 2 weeks. Took the car to the dealer 3 times within that time frame. My first visit, they didnt see anything wrong, no dtc codes, no check engine light. Second visit, i told them about the software update i saw on this site. They applied patch tsb 15-057 hv cell voltage sensor (cvs) software update, took the car home, when to work later in the afternoon, and power system problem message came on again.third visit, no dashboard lights stayed on once again, told them about how it was my 3rd visit in 2 weeks. Tech drove the car for 10 miles, power system problem pops up. Found dtcs codes finally. Code p108 - generator motor inverters, and code 0562 - generator motor control module system low voltage. Tech performed troubleshooting for p108c and reapplied patch, i guess it didnt go thru the first time? drove it for another 10 miles and found no errors this time.it has been 5 days since my last visit and i have not had the issue since. Also to note, it has not been as hot here in the northeast the last few days. Highs in the 70s compare to 80s-90s when i began having this issue.

I had purchased brand new accord hybrid 2015 in december 2015 and in january 2018 car battery is drained fully due to unknown reason.last night , in -5f temperature my car broke on the road and i have seen worst in my life due to car issue on the road.i would appreciate , if you look into the quality of battery issue being placed in car fromhonda and various dealers as it sounds sketchy to me.even if i drove 45k miles battery should last longer on newer car compare older cars.i would appreciate , if you can look into it more closely.

Pulling out of a shopping plaza onto the highway, driving about 20mph at first, the rear of the car started shaking mildly. Within a few seconds the car started shaking excessively, vibrating very loudly.i thought i had 2 flat tires but then the indicator lights came on...the check engine symbol and the "power system problem"i immediately pulled over and checked the vehicle all of the tires were ok.i sat for a few minutes letting it cool down started the vehicle and all of the display warnings were off i turned off the "econ" option and pushed the "ev" (electric vehicle) buttonhoping if the problem was related to that, those options would now be disabled i very slowly drove it home (about 2 miles). Driving about 55mph on the highway the exact same happened as above except this time the car slowed down almost immediately and the steering wheel got very loose i pulled into the median the rumbling is very concerningit is so aggressive that it sounds like the car is falling apart. It seems like the engine is all messed up. I'm not sure if the options i checked are correct, the options to check for the problemsit might include something i didn't check mark or i might have check marked something unrelated. I just did my best to guess. I don't know a lot about cars so maybe you could verify that the information problem areas are correct. Thank you please advise the exact same thing happened.

While driving my honda accord 2015on interstate 75 in the left lane, the dashboard displayed a warning that there was a power system failure, the engine light came on. The vehicle immediately lost all power. The dashboard display was still lit and the radio continued to play. There was no resistance with the gas pedal and the car could only coast. I checked traffic and changed lanes to the far right emergency pull off. I turned off the car and then restarted it and the power system failure warning was gone but then a brake system warning came on. The car did travel foward with gas pedal and the brake seemed to work so i stayed in emergency lane and proceeded to closet exit off i75. I went to auto zone but they could not assist me. When the car was restarted all the warnings were clear. I took it the a honda dealer and ask for a diagnostic. Honda service person said that if i was driving with both feet (one on gas and one on brake) that loss of power. I was not driving with both feet, so i asked him to run a diagnostics so i felt safe enough to drive home. The diagnostics revealed that the computer needed an update that was performed by service. I read the paperwork on the diagnositcs and there was a statement that described my incident completely with sudden loss of power.my car is not on a recall list. Honda seemed to know exactly what to fix, but i was never notified that my car needed an update resulting in power system failure. Why was this information not communicated to the owners of these cars? for a brand new car to be able to display all kinds of information (ie, oil life, range of miles, time for service) why can not the car display that its computer needs an update and to take in for service?there was no injury thankfully, but easily this could have happen, i was just lucky that i was able to coast over to the emergency lane and was not going uphill.

I was driving on highway at approx 75mph when got message power failed, overheating and breaks failed. Accelerator / gas pedal stopped working. Could have been big accident if vehicle from behind hit the car.

The contact owns a 2015 honda accord hybrid. While driving at 65 mph, the vehicle inadvertently entered fail safe mode, which caused the engine to stall and the vehicle to enter battery mode. The contact was able to coast onto the road shoulder and shut off the engine. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer test drove the vehicle, but the failure was unable to be duplicated. The dealer updated the software patch; however, the failure was not corrected. The contact was unable to start the engine. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.

This is the second time that my car has had problems at 60 to 70 mph.it happens when coasting not braking.the high temperature warning for the brakes comes on and the engine shuts down. The car will coast and brake but there is no power.it takes 5 minutes before you can turn the car off and reset.otherwise the car is locked out and will not function.today i was on i75 going 70 mph with trucks all around.this is a safety issue.my local dealer has been responsive but the first time they ran the codes etc the national honda folks had never heard of this. This is the second time with the same issue.first was at about 2500 miles.

I was traveling n/b on i-95 in the laurel, md area when the dash board displayed warnings that the car was over heating, braking system problem, and reducing power. The vehicle began to decelerate rapidly. I felt the imminent danger of having to exit the highway with tractor trailers driving by with speeds in excess 75mph, as my car was slowing down. I sincerely feel that a guardian angel was looking over me, allowing me find a break in traffic and exit the roadway. Its frightening to think of the outcome if i were unable to exit this highway safely. This 2015 honda accord hybrid was purchased in may of 2015. This incident occurred on the first extended road trip on the highway. I will not jeopardized my life, or the safety of my family by operating this new vehicle ever again. Honda corporation needs to rectify this situation before people lose their lives unnecessarily. A new car that shuts down on the highway, operating at highway speeds is absolutely unacceptable anytime. The defective part number is 1k100-5k1-a03, which i was told was on a national back order, and were unable to tell me when this part would arrive.updated 10/06/15*lj updated 11/22/2017

The contact also stated that there was an abnormal grinding sound coming from the front of the vehicle and then the vehicle stalled. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to honda superstore of lisle (4475 lincoln ave, lisle, il 60532, (630) 852-7200) to be diagnosed, but the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure or retrieve a fault code. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

New 2015 honda accord hybrid touring.parked car ran a few errands.returned to car and it would not start indicating brake system failure, adaptive cruise control failure, abs failure and check engine light.tried starting car a few times and car finally started and indicator lights went off.began driving and lost most of braking functions.brake pedal went all the way to floor, had to stop car with parking brake. Presently at dealer. Had my 3 children in the car with me.

I was driving to work at approximately 6:45am on friday, 10/14/2016. I was traveling on at approximately 70 mph on i95 north in light traffic. Weather conditions were ideal. After driving for approximately 15 minutes, i head a deafening and startling explosion; the noise was similar to that of a loud shotgun blast. I swerved to the right - i was lucky traffic was light. I looked around but traffic was proceeding normally. My first thought was of a truck tire exploding but i saw no trucks. I then considered someone may be discharging a weapon.finally, i heard noise of the wind above my head and pulled off at the closest rest area. Once i stopped shaking, i inspected the roof of the car and saw the shattered glass. I called my husband then my supervisor. Finally, i drove to the dealership and reported the issue. The customer service agent told me they would have to contact honda to report the event. They initially told me that renting a vehicle would be $33 per day. After the service manager arrived and the customer service rep spoke to him, he authorized a rental at no cost. After several hours, i was assigned a rental vehicle and i drove home.the csa called me and reported that the dealership had found evidence of something striking the front of the car, bouncing onto and shattering the sunroof, then denting the truck of the car. From a dynamic perspective, i do not believe this is possible plus the only noise of which i was aware was from overhead.also, granted it has been only four days, but i am very skittish about driving. I have lost all confidence.

I have had 3 of 4 tires fail (blow out) with less than 20,000 miles on the car.the firs was less than 10,000, second i believe around 14,000 then the third at 19,000.vehicle was in motion.
