Driver left a store in a parking lot, backed up, turned right and proceeded about 15 yards when side and overhead driver's side airbags deployed. No collision. Witnesses at coffee shop said they did not see or hear of a collision in an area that has them often. Was scuffing on left rear mud guard and slight indentation (have pix) on bumper. Collision center manager actually pushed it out with his hand.collision center said there was slight blue paint transfer on wheel yet car was towed 10 miles to honda dealership. Honda literature says air bags only deploy in the event of a moderate or severe collision. Top air bag only to deploy in event of a rollover. Just returned from a 5,500 mile trip.first tow truck driver didn't have correct gear to load onto a flat bed and radioed that there was no collision.second driver couldn't find evidence of a collision at the location. No plastic on roadway, glass or anything else.honda dealership employees had difficulty in locating the car the following morning following drop-off. Employees were looking for a car with side damage.driver has been hurting in shoulder and head. Thought it would go away but has not. Will seek additional medical attention.honda customer service in california has been contacted. Will also filed with washington state attorney general's office and insurance commissioner. Airbags and sensors in trunk pulled at the collision center are in the trunk. Car has remained in garage since being repaired. Owner traumatized and wants car replaced.
Though there is plenty of fuel in the tank, petrol engine got cutoff while driving and all kinds of electrical errors started appearing on the dashboard. Eventually battery (electric) propulsion also turned off.
The contact owns a 2014 honda accord hybrid. The contact stated that there was a constant loss of electrical power, which shorted the battery function. A red warning indicator illuminated "12 volts" and to service the battery. The dealer (sullivan honda, 45 migeon ave, torrington, ct 06790, (860) 496-0077) stated that the vehicle was excluded from nhtsa campaign number: 17v418000 (electrical system) and that the battery sensor needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle exhibited the same failure as listed in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, provided no remedy, and also stated that the vehicle was excluded from the recall. The failure mileage was not available.
The car will will randomly lose connection with the key less remote. This happened a dozen times and the dealership has been unable to fix the issue. This occurs most often when the car is on and stopped and the passenger gets out of the car; however, the car also lost connection with the key less remote while driving through the city.

The contact owns a 2014 honda accord hybrid. The contact stated that the vehicle emitted an abnormal fuel odor. The failure occurred without warning. The contact stated that there was also abnormal fuel consumption due to using 3/4ths of a tank to drive 15 miles. The vehicle was taken jim coleman honda (12441 auto dr., clarksville, md) where it was diagnosed that a rodent ate the rubber fuel line, which would require the fuel tank assembly to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000
After starting my car in a small parking lot, i shifted into reverse and i pressed gently on the acceleratorthe car lurched backward and kept accelerating even though i applied the brakes.after it had smashed into the parking lot curb, shrubs and cars parked 20 to 30 feet behind me, it finally stopped. The air bags deployed when and my car contacted the first fixed object. Fortunately, the other cars were empty so i was the only one injured.my car and two others sustained substantial damage.two other cars were damaged slightly.

The contact owns a 2014 honda accord hybrid. The contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, the steering wheel seized as the electronic power steering warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and repaired however, the repair was unknown. The failure recurred three additional times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 21,945.
Sudden and immediate eps failure while driving straight on highway. Warning lights come on as the electronic power steering failure happens.steering wheel "locks up" making it extremely difficult to steer the car into any turn.
I can't see clear image any object behind me because the rear windshield are waviness or curving around, steamy seems like you driving in a real hot desert area. I am worry about my safety because is hybrid car easy catch on fire and rear windshield are right above the huge pack of battery! the service manager of honda checked & said every accord hybrid is like that on the windshield but not on regular gas accord. Honda can't change it because it might be the design of the hybrid.
My honday accord hybrid does not come with a spare tire. It just comes with a sealing kit to temporarily repair the flat tire.on may 30th i was driving locally and got a flat tire.i tried the sealing kit according to its instruction, it did not do anything and i had to have my car towed away.the fact that the repair kit did not work at the time of need is one issue.my main issue is not that, it's the fact that this car does not have a spare tire and i don't feel safe driving it out of town.what would happen if i was travelling out of state, and had a flat tire, i could be stranded in the middle of no where.on june 14 i wrote a letter to honda corporation and requested that they provide me with a compact spare tire that i can carry in my car trunk.they called me back and informed me that honda will not provide me with a spare tire.i researched online and it seems like other owners of honda hybrid have same concern and they don't feel safe driving this car either.in any case i believe that this is a safety issue that has to be addressed.thank you.

Left outside drivers mirror has dual use glass, very distracting and little use or value.causes driver to constantly re-adjust and see double vehicles on left side of vehicle when changing lanes.the dual vision glass show be replaced with single vision glass to eliminate the errors of double vehicles.
