The contact owns a 2004 holiday rambler vacationer. The contact received a recall notice in the mail for the brake calipers on the workhorse, but his rotors were also defective. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be repaired, but they informed him that the rotors were not included in the recall. The vehicle was repaired at his expense. The failure mileage was approximately 31,500. The vin was unavailable.updated 01/11/2011*lj

Brake failure on my 2003 workhorse holiday rambler motor home. Had to replace all rotors and pads because of cracking and sticking. Brakes continuously overheated with normal use.only 35,000 miles on vehicle.

The contact owns a 2004 holiday rambler vacationer. While driving at 20 mph he attempted to apply the brakes and they extended to the floor and failed to stop the vehicle. He was able to safely maneuver the vehicle to the emergency lane until the brakes were no longer over heated. The contact was able to drive safely to his destination. A burning smell was present in the braking area since the vehicle was purchased; however, the dealer stated that smell was the new installation burning off. The contact continued to drive the vehicle until he lost the ability to engage the brakes. The dealer was unable to determine the failure since it could not beduplicated. The rear brake caliper on the drivers side was replaced at the owners expense for $642.68. Two years later, while driving approximately 20 mph and applying the brakes they were not engaging with enough resistance. The dealer is currently inspecting the vehicle. The manufacturer stated that since there was no existing recall he would not be reimbursed for the previous repairs. The failure mileage was 11,610 and the current mileage was 15,200.

Total brake lost abs alarm. Pumped brakes and used emer. Brakes to stop. Abs lite stays on.

The contact owns a 2004 holiday rambler vacationer coach.the contact stated that the brake calipers were binding on the brakes.the dealer ordered parts, but did not know if they had arrived yet.the contact ordered the parts on july 21, 2009 and still have not received the parts.the failure mileage was 24,721.

The contact owns a 2004 holiday rambler vacationer.while driving at any speed, the vehicle tends to sway from right to left.the failure has been occurring ever since the vehicle was purchased.the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer.the current mileage was 25,486 and failure mileage was 24,800.
