There have been numerous welds made on the frame where the frame mfg (freightliner) says never to weld. Many of these have broken. This is where the body was attached to the frame. The missing cross member between the rear leveling jacks has caused the frame rails to bend badly. This cross member should have been installed by holiday rambler. There is also a twist in the frame from front to back. The rt. Front is down by 1"and the left rear is down by 1". The instability in the frame causes the slide out room to not close properly and leak. It also causes the windshields to move in relationship to each other by 1 1/2" when driving over uneven ground (such as rr crossings). The frame problems cause uneven and premature tire wear (the tires last approximately 35,000 to 40,000 miles.this vehicle has spent at least 153 days in the shop. Holiday rambler has cut a 2 1/2" diameter hole in the middle of the frame. When the temperature drops below freezing, the throttle actually freezes. This vehicle weighs 24,000 pounds so stopping it can become a real challenge.when the "u" bolts broke, we were fortunate we were pulling into a gas station. If they had broken at speed, we could have rolled the motorhome. The frame cannot be repaired without removing the body. Since the body has been welded on, this is not possible.

Excessive bouncing of the front end under certain road conditions, possibility that the models with slideout anddiesel genset may have too much front end weight for the installed shock absorbers.
