Plastic fuel tanks swells.has been replaced several times by harley davidson, however, the tanks are replaced with the same item/part number.after each tank replacement the swelling continues with the new tank.i am concerned that now that i am out of warranty the tank will no longer be replaced and that eventually the swelling will lead to cracking and fuel spillage with a fire or crash resulting.
The plastic gas tank on these bikes swells to the point the covers no longer fit.hoping they don't swell to the point of leaking fuel.
Rear brake light switch failed causing leaking of rear master cylinder fluid, loss of rear brake control and associated wiring caught on fire.
