March 20 2014 the brake light stayed on constantly while driving home. I did not realize this until i arrived home. I removed the wiring to check the front and rear brake light switch connections and normal operation was restored when i reconnected the switches. Now (june 26 2014) the rear brake light switch is non functional. I checked the circuit and shorting the two wires together makes the brake light illuminate. The switch is also leaking brake fluid. I see that several other hd models have been recalled for this same problem, and the dealer stocks a lot of these switches. With the rear brake not activating the brake light and the fluid leaking, i am fearful of riding this bike. It currently has only 7674 miles on it.

Front brake failure due to abs malfunction. Front brake became inoperative while in motion and attempting to stop.
