Out riding the bike on saturday 9/27/14, the battery light came on flashing then stayed onsteady, about 3 miles up the road and the bike started spitting and sputtering, then shut off completely. After several attempts the battery appeared dead. Had vehicle towed home and did some online research to find a safety recall on the bike that expired 6/2013. I was never notified via email or mail of this recall so had no chance of getting it serviced, phone contacted the dealership where the bike was purchased and was told "sorry we cannot do anything about this", contact harley direct as they may help you. This si the 3rd incident with this dealer from day one with receiving the bike with loose rear spokes on the wheel and then finding out a year late that the registration plate they gave me that i paid for was never registered with penndot, had to pay for another tag and pay the fees again, that were already paid upon buying the vehicle brand new, this dealership does not stand behind their work or their products.
