Problems with 110 ci cvo engine map.engine sometimes dies when shifting, pops back through intake.had this happen on said date, when entering highway onto on ramp. I was coming up to highway speed, about 60-65 mph, with two semi's in heavy traffic with ample space for me to merge into traffic.pulled clutch in, and the engine died instantly.had to take the bike to the shoulder of the road, to allow for semi's to pass by while hitting start button to restart the engine.after starting back up i was able then to merge into traffic.this is not the only time this has happened, it has occurred several times on the highway, and in town in slower traffic when slowing and taking off.engine also has repeated rear cylinder oil leaks, i am currently on my third cylinder that they are replacing on my bike.the dealer has not been able to fix the map, or the cause of my oil leaks.i have had other issues of chrome and paint problems but all of these are minor, compared to the engine stalling, and oil leaks. Compression releases intermittently work, causing damage to the starter, causing it to fail.which has left me stranded, and i had to trailer the bike back to the dealer.i have only had this bike 11 months, and all of this has happened to it and more.i feel it's unsafe to ride a motorcycle that sometimes dies in between gear changes.this could lead to accidents or possible deaths.on the 8th was a near miss of this magnitude.the dealer and company have tried repeatedly to fix this and have yet to date.

I have a 2007 flhtcuse@ harley-davidson motorcycle that has been in the shop 4 times going on 5. The first time was for a leak in the rear cylinder. Second time was for oil spraying out of the oil cooler and no oil pressure, third time was for no oil pressure, fourth time was for excessive knocking and running on the front cylinder only. Now i am taking it back in for the original problem of leaking out of the rear cylinder again. I had to wait until 8/6 to take it in to get fixed. In the mean time i went to go out on a ride and i made it less them a mile and now it will not turn over. I have been on hdforums.com and there are a lot of other people having the same problem with their harley davidson 110 motors. Please look at this sight to see all other issues that are going on with these new motors.

The contact owns a 2007 harley davidson flhtcuse2.the contact noticed oil leaking from the crankcase near the rear cylinder.he took the vehicle to be repaired.the current mileage was 3,875 and failure mileage was 3,775.no other vehicle information was available.

Rear cylinder head gasket failure leading to oil leakage & loss of compression.this has occurred twice and head gasket is now leaking slightly for a total of three failures.failure of automatic compression releases leading to failure of starter.vehicle has been into repair shop 4 times since incident for a total of approximately 40 days out of service.

Noticed vibration @ 75 mph and use of oil.used 1.75 qts of oil in 1,700 miles.dealer said to switch to petroleum based oil to seat the rings in.did so.still using oil.dealer pulled plugs for evidence of burning oil - none found.complained again and they topped off oil level and said to drive another 500-1,000 miles.returned to dealer and they confirmed oil usage by removing exhaust pipe and looking in rear cylinder of engine.broken valve guide.

I purchased a 2007 harley davidson ultra classic screaming eagle and after 10k miles it stared leaking oil due to a manufacturers defect. There are probably hundreds same model bike with the same problem. The engine should be replaced, but harley won't do it...

Motor oil leaking at 4,000miles.

Hydraulic clutch will not disengage at stops and unable to put into neutral near idle or when stopping.extremely dangerous at intersections, stop lights, in traffic, etc. Brakes must be used to keep bike stopped while in gear or kill the engine to get the transmission into neutral.

The drivetrain is very loud in neutral and having load banging noises at start up and kick backs.

My 2007 harley davidson ultra classis eletra glide rear pulley bolts sheared of completely inside the wheel.the bike has been maintained well above harley davidson requirements.the bike has only 18,000 mile and had already had the 20,000 mile service completed.i had spoke with harley and they are aware of this happening and claim it is a maintenance issue.the bike has been maintained per harley and it still happened.there are hundreds of posts on harley forum of this same thing happening.there is a design flaw are bolt grade issue.right now i am fighting the extended warranty company and harley to get this clear defect fixed on there dime not mine.thus far the extended warranty place denied the claim and harley states the bike is out of warranty despite the fact that it is an issue of defective manufacturing.
