The consumer received a recall letter on the microwave sansung mr5493g01 last october.the consumer called 1-866-461-2289,and stated that they will send the part and a technician to install the part.however,neither the part nor the technician showed up.consumer called back on six different times, and stillno part or technician appeared.
I received a recall letter from samsung for a model mr5491 microwave.this unit is permenantly installed in my travel trailer, yet samsung insists that a must remove the unit and take the unit in for service.i must take off work to do this, as the center is only open m-fif it is an installed unit, why does the recall not include service--after all it is not my problem that the unit is defective!!
